    SPOTOG - Individual

    London 2012

The London 2012 Olympic Games is now over, and what a fantastic ride it's been! The Andy Murray Fan Forum thought it would be a fitting celebration at the end of the Games to hold our own version of the BBC Sports Personality of the Year - so welcome to SPOTOG - the Sports Person of the Olympic Games!

Although all of our Team GB athletes have done their country proud, many have achieved the ultimate prize of winning an Olympic Gold Medal. So here's a chance for all our members to choose from that amazing group of people, and vote for a Person and Team they think has best represented the Spirit of the Games and earned special recognition.

    Team GB Gold Medallists:

    Individuals (choose up to 4)

Bradley Wiggins Cycling: Road Time Trials
Peter Wilson Shooting: Men's Double Trap
    Victoria Pendleton Cycling: Women's Keirin
    Jessica Ennis Athletics: Women's Heptathlon
Greg Rutherford Athletics: Men's Long Jump
    Mo Farah Athletics: Men's 10,000m & Men's 5000m
    Ben Ainslie Sailing: Finn Class
    Andy Murray Tennis: Men's Singles
Jason Kenny Cycling: Men's Individual Sprint
    Alistair Brownlee Triathlon
    Laura Trott Cycling: Women's Omnium
    Chris Hoy Cycling: Men's Keirin
    Charlotte Dujardin Equestrian: Individual Dressage
    Nicola Adams Boxing: Women's Flyweight
    Jade Jones Taekwondo: Women's 57kg
    Ed McKeever Canoe Sprint: Men's K1 200m
    Luke Campbell Boxing: Men's Bantamweight
    Anthony Joshua Boxing: Men's Super-Heavyweight

You can select up to four gold-medallists from the list and, if you would like to, you can discuss the reasons for your choices in the thread.

The vote will be open until Thursday 16th August, after which we will announce the results.
