Can't be weird because it is a 250 event

Just the announcement now - I suppose it is all to do with deadlines and publicity. But frankly as we don't know when he will be 100% then we don't know when he will play.

Ah, I see. Yeah, I guess it's a matter of getting in before deadline so he can keep options open. Schengzen (sp.?) certainly served him well returning from back surgery, hope for same again

Let's hope it works well this time. Anything that gets him back on that court is welcome in my book

By entering before he loses Wimbledon points it saves him relying on protected ranking or wild cards. That way he can use them for other events.

I heard on radio five live, last night, he's going to play in Washington at the end of this month. Russell Fuller was on the breakfast news, this morning, and he confirmed that Andy's name is on the list of entrants, at the moment.

    Re: Andy's schedule 2018

Just seen Andy has posted on Facebook that he will be in BBC studio with Tim tomorrow & trying some commentating on Wednesday. Which is lovely but I'm slightly worried that he is not at practise courts & that there is a set back on the road back to competing. Or maybe I'm just a negative nancy. I'm missing him so much, can barely watch Wimbledon.
Andy Murray is for life, not just for Wimbledon
