    I'm sure Andy would be nominated again if he achieved something major one year - but it is a bit presumptious for him to say he doesn't want to be nominated again!

    That's assuming that he would be nominated some time which is not very modest and therefore not like Andy at all!

    I am not saying anything about what his views on the situation re SPOTY might be. I haven't a clue. I have just said what I feel about it. It's been going since 1954. It's quite a prestigious award. He has deservedly got it 3 times. I would just like to think he would withdrawn himself from future contests. He might think differently.

    If he was going to withdraw himself, to be even halfway modest, he'd have to do it in his winning speech, which means leaving things as they are until he wins again.

    Could see him being missed out this year although there aren't any outstanding candidates so far.

    Guess Mo could finally win it with him running his last track races this year, another double in London would be fantastic

    He still competes for GB..... Roger and Nole have homes overseas but still compete for Switzerland and Serbia....
