Hope Andy has taken some pleasure in his 6 months off.....and lets hope that his break does as much for him as Rafa and Fed got out of theirs

    Re: Australian Open 2018

We can now start to see where Andy will be seeded for the Aussie Open. Looks like he'll end the year at number 15 (only Isner or Sock can change that if they reach the Final or win Paris respectively). With 150 to lose from Doha he will drop below Pouille unless he replaces those in Brisbane.

But looks like he'll scrape into top 16 for the seedings although being 17-20 doesn't make a whole heap of difference.

Clump of earth’s law being what it is, he will get either Federer, Nadal or Djokovic or all of them in the early rounds.

    Re: Australian Open 2018

There is certainly the potential for 3 of the 4 to be drawn in the same half. But Djokovic could well be in the 13-16 category too making it impossible for him to meet Andy before a semi final. But you would certainly want to avoid Federer/Nadal as the potential last 16 opponent.........although from where we are now, making the last 16 would be a decent step forward.

Rafa is injured, Fed is old and Djoko is away with the fairies . . . I'd be more worried about the young guns!
