Wasn't it already tested at the US Open qualifying?

And at the Next Gen Finals in Milan?

It's a shame about his coach. As we all know with Andy a coach that suits is really important. I wish him (and Andy) well in finding a new one.

Losing Magnus Norman will be a huge blow to Stan. He really was the mastermind behind his 'late blooming'.

Agreed, tough blow for Stan - he and Magnus Norman truly connected. Neither Stan or Andy are credit-hogs, rather both were quick to acknowledge how much they gained from their coaches. I hope both, but especially Andy, manage maintain their mentors' influence going forward as neither are likely to find such a formidable connection again.

Hopefully he will present the award at SPOTY as last year's winner - would be great if he did.

Re: Australian Open 15-28th Jan 2018 - Main thread

Looks like the shot clock timing is just going to be for the qualifiers.

But the Grand Slam Board granted the Australian Open’s request for a waiver of the rule change. The shot clock will only be used in the qualifying rounds on a “trial basis,” much like the U.S. Open did last year.
