    Because of the popularity of the women's world cup, cricket has moved a step closer to be included in the 2024 Olympics. The decision, for it to be included, won't be announced by the IOC until next year. If it does get in, India will seriously consider bidding for the 2032 Olympic Games.

    I was at the Grange in Edinburgh yesterday to watch Scotland beat the world number 1 ODI side who shall remain nameless to avoid embarrassment.
