Seems they are aware of the bad weather looming and are starting play early tomorrow at 07.32am!
    Leaders out at 13.47pm.

I was at a wedding all day today and had to peek at my phone under tables (I wasn't the only one but have to say I was the only female)

Great results so far, hoping for good things tomorrow on Stena at moment on way to Lakes so might still be sleeping when it is all over!

Enjoy it all Pat especially the buzz

Fantastic days golf ,and I hope they all get a good nights sleep, esp. Shane !

Most spectacular scenery for any Open championship, said Tom Watson and I agree.

Monsoon conditions here! I don't know how they manage to play golf in this. We play in loads of wind all the time, (cos we have no option: it's always windy!) but we would draw the line at these conditions!

What an amazing Open! So happy for Shane. And for Tommy too. I hope his turn to win will come in 2020 at a major.

Shane wins !! that eases the disappointment of Rory's early exit . He's such a natural player esp on the links .

Droves of Irish fans there today , I wonder how they all got tickets, they were supposed to be sold out long ago!

Sad that that's the last major of the year .

Over the moon for Shane Lowry! What a fantastic 4 days of golf he had, kept his nerve on the last day and won clear of the field chasing him in front of an ecstatic Irish crowd. Fabulous for the whole island of Ireland and put Portrush right on the map!

I felt for Tommy Fleetwood who kept edging closer then losing the gains he'd made. But that is golf ... Good to see Westwood playing better, Justin Rose faded a bit at the end. All in all a lot of lovely golf to watch.

I stopped playing 10 years ago (rubbish handicap of 45 ...) when my first knee needed replacing but am very tempted to see if I can still hit a golf ball. Stand by the local driving range - my one-eyed aim isn't very true!

Congrats Europe girls! Won the last 3 matches and pinched the Solheim Cup! Exciting finish. Well done them!
