Right, that cat's gotta go! Anyone want a cat for 12 months?

You just need to make sure Barley's hutch is secure and you'll be fine. We used to have a guinea pig in an outside hutch and the cats could lie for hours watching him.

Either that or make sure you season him well and use the hutch for kindling.

Really? Gosh, I didn't know that.

Cats will kill just about anything, out of sheer badness!

He's in an indoor hutch in the porch which is pretty secure but does have a wee door on the front that opens which if she set her mind to it, I reckon she'd be able to force open .... her biggest problem would be balancing on top of his cage but I don't think that would cause her too much difficulty .... like I say, she's banned from the porch .... and as it's plastic and metal we'd have a hard job using it for kindling

Get the feeling you don't like them much? My favourite pets are rabbits and guinea pigs.

We get cats lying in wait to catch bunnies all the time in my Dad's garden. Had to rescue an injured bunny earlier this year. But they tend to go for baby and young bunnies rather than the fully grown ones.

Actually, no, given a choice I'd get a cat every time. I'm not blind to their faults though!
