    Re: Newspaper and internet reports

Andy’s fan base is large and it covers several continents but it is closer to home that the hard core fans gather: in the women’s locker room, the world No 3 is revered.

I'm currently reading Judy's book and no doubt Andy is well aware of the sexism she describes encountering, and this has encouraged him to speak his mind on the subject. A very well raised boy, indeed.

You don't let the words of the uneducated, misogynistic, pig bother you, do you?

I noticed they didn't comment on "Dellacqua thinks, when Murray’s career is over, it is his words and actions that will remembered as much as cups and trophies"

Actually I feel it's not words as they are cheap it will be his actions that will stand out.
He backs up his words with his actions. People for instance site the UA hunting link.
    He should drop them.
    I say:
How can he change the way his sponsor behaves best? By leaving? No! they'll just carry on regardless.

If you think he hasn't had a word in their shell like you must be mad.
People don't change over night, not when education is involved. No it's a slow process.
Just as it will be for the comment writers.
    Patience my dear.

Only the headline is noteworthy as the article has doom merchant Briggs still at it.
He has seen more than half-a-dozen specialists, but remains of the opinion that he can return to top-level tennis without surgery. Should he be forced to go under the knife, he would probably be out for six months, and then perhaps take another year to rediscover his best form. By which time he would be pushing 32.
