Brian Cant has died, along with another part of my childhood.

Thank you Hawkeye. I did recognise his face although I was a bit old for watching his programmes.

Hello all! It makes me happy to be back on the forum after a crazy 6 weeks. Running around getting sorted for Peru, then having the holiday of a lifetime. Seeing rare sights in the jungle, 2 jaguarundi was my highlight, Kev preferred the harpy eagle. Hiking the inca trial (ouch) just too much to mention. Also with swollen knees and blisters from the trail I successfully completed the race for life 10k on Sunday, hottest day we've had up here but I didn't pass out so I'm happy for that too. It was a struggle!

Sad that all of this meant no queens for me this year but have a great time to all those going and hope to see you at Wimbledon!

Thanks it really was! Though the 10k in heat followed by heatstroke and sunburn not so much. It was worse than the nosebleeds at altitude lol. Though the was worth the pain for the experience and the race for life worth the pain as it's for charity and I raised 50 only a third of last year but every little helps

if anyone wants to donate I can pm you the link of this is ok with the mods. If this isn't ok mods, let me know and I'll delete this bit of the post

Anyway no more holidays for me this year lol worth it for the trip of a lifetime though.
