Stuck with both Marcella and come home. Ending or Marcella was just stupid, and ending of come home was annoying. Wish i hadn’t started watching either!

I'm enjoying Secret Agent Selection: WW2 (BBC 2, 9pm tonight), which revives the training programme of World War II's Special Operations Executive. The ingenuity in how the training was designed to identify suitable people is as interesting as seeing which of the modern day recruits can handle it.

I have just finished catching up with 'Before We Die'. Really good, plot continually twisting and turning. Very tense, could only manage 2 episodes a night. Couldn't bear the tension of a third on the same night! I've also just caught up with 'Below the Surface'. Also very good. Some hard hitting stuff in there.

The Queen with David Attenborough last night for the QCC. She's in good nick considering her age, much better than Mr Attenborough who was still hobbling, and wheezing a bit. Still, who am I to talk. It's been good to see much more of the Senior Royals on TV in the past few years, once upon a time the Queen or Charles would never appear in documentaries, but last night she seemed so much more relaxed.

Oh I don't know. The Queen still drives herself around her estates.

Ok so in North America we get the British series sometimes years after they've been televised on your telly. At the mo, we're getting a show called Unforgotten with Nicola Walker, she of River and Happy Valley fame. Really good. And the 2015 series of Silent Witness. I really love Emilia Fox's hair style btw. And the last series of Call the Midwife - I swear I cannot make it through ANY episode without bawling my head off. And I just finished the second series of The Crown. I loved it EXCEPT for the episode featuring the Kennedys. I'm pretty sure they made most of that up tbh, so far fetched.
