Thread: What are you watching on TV?

Re: What are you watching on TV?

Wonder if many fans still to catch up but anyway thought Line of Duty was terrific and as probably expected some questions still to be resolved, have noticed mixed reviews from critics mind you. After first episode must admit was not sure it would be quite as good but certainly tension built up during run and was engrossed. I did not see the first few series originally but caught up later on like some others.

We're big LoD fans in our house. We were completely hooked after binge watching the first 3 series on Netflix. I thought this series dropped off bit after Corbett's exit but it's still the best darn thing on telly. The best bit had to be when Kate told the annoying AC3 officer to "stop making a *** of yourself and **** off". We all cheered

Must get the time to re-watch from the start. I loved the Lindsay Denton (Keeley Hawes) series the best

A new series of Cardinal starting tonight BBC4, 9pm. I've enjoyed the previous series.

1 episode left, and there's going to be no happy ending...

Really think they're dragging some of this out....94 min episodes.... what's these about? I'm sure they'll all live happily ever after though

    I bet they don't...

And they said that the episodes would be longer to balnce out the fact that it wasn't a 10 episode season.

Yes I get the episodes are longer but fewer but why? Much of the action is drawn out... even M said ok we get the point, move on, with all the dragon scenes. Yet the character stories feel rushed to a conclusion. Some have come out of nowhere like the Varys bit (trying not to include out and out spoilers) as though i's are being dotted and t's crossed hastily without proper reference to what's gone before.

I just finished watching Line of Duty as so many had raved about it. I seriously don't understand when all the fuss is about. There was some good acting by the someone in the last episode I thought (avoiding spoiler) but what a load of drivel of a storyline. It's probably just me.....

What have I not been watching? My favourite Line of Duty finished with a shock ending with the clever link to early series. Also enjoying The Durrells, Victoria, 15 Days and new series Virtues which started last night. The Looming Tower is another good series. The drama series lately on all channels have been excellent. Also binged watched Dead to Me on Netflix. I do watch a lot of TV but also read a lot also. TV and books keep me company. Not watched as much tennis but have watched some clay court tournaments. Lovely to see Andy's winning final yesterday when rain stopped play in Rome.
