Casting all football rivalries aside, think Jamie owes this Dundonian a peh & a pint!!

alas, dropped serve, but in dubs the second set doesn't count, keep powder dry for the tb10

Alis

They lost 10-7 in the mtb. A close match - such a pity they couldn't pull it off at the last - it would have been a great win.

harriet
23-05-2012, 18:25
lost 6-4, 2-6, 7-10, poor play in tb10, had 3 mini breaks in total, gave them all away, and conceded one to lose 7-10

Sallydaisy

Well I guess at least they took a set off the Bryans which is quite something for a 'rookie' team!
On to Roland Garros .......

Will Jamie be partnering Bracialli at RG Sally?

Linda

They did really well

But seeing the posts about 'Daniele' made me wonder if this was mixed doubles!

Will Jamie be partnering Bracialli at RG Sally?
I understood he was partnering Carsten Ball at RG and Wimbledon but with Andy at Queens and the Olympics (if they qualify).

But seeing the posts about 'Daniele' made me wonder if this was mixed doubles!

But that IS how he spells his Christian name.

The Bryans were such strong favourites, Jamie/Daniele can be so proud of their effort!

harriet
24-05-2012, 16:13
but to get 3 minibreaks in the tb10 and lose them all, and to double fault in the tb, that's not an effort to be proud of.

Joyce
25-05-2012, 17:42
Surely they did well to get the mini-breaks in the 1st place - & maybe they double-faulted because they were going for it??
