Quite a few of us follow this 'spoof Federer' twitter account. He/she/it makes a lot of entertaining, non-threatening, tongue-in-cheek, tweets ususally with the hashtag #humble at the end.

Has anyone guessed who it is yet???

Baghdatis – as above but without the hat.
Goffin – He is the little boy. You can hype this match up a lot with no serious reason. Yes.
Sue Barker – She won the French Open but is quite small.
Johnathan Lloyd – Apparently he used to like having the photos taken of himself in his undergarments. I am not comfortable with how small the fitting was.
Patrick McEnroe – He had a great career as a doubles player and also part of a famous musical duets with Paul Simon.

Thank you for the usual considerations. As usual, Centre Court only, don’t do a Garros on Me.

This is a very good description of pseudofed. As you say non-threatening - just entertaining, clever humour. Tweets are a joy to read. No haven't guessed who it is yet!

Yes I've read those too!!! No I really don't know who it is or if anyone else does. I've had a couple of conversations too - so funny. I actually forgot myself and called him/her 'mate'!!!! This form of address was questioned with some dismay as you can imagine and quite right too. Goodness knows what I was thinking!!!

I should have!!! I do use it a lot yes and it fitted at the time! He/she pleaded ignorance and confusion at such a term - was a very funny response. The humour is excellently subtle and very well observed. More power to his/her humble elbow!

Thank you all for the warm welcomes. I have not used forum technologies before but some staff assured Me it was a good way to connect with fans. Also I had hearing the rumours that some peoples claim to know who I am with very colourful guesses! I hate to say it, but all guesses have been wrong.

This morning a member of staff said to Me over breakfast times:
“Why does everyone say your Slam record is ‘amazing’ for consistently getting this far when all you ever do is play the Little Guys until the semi-finals? Surely it would be ‘amazing’ if you did not reach this far? You are the GOAT after all.”

I found such comments distasteful, inaccurate and offensive. I was so angry I gestured to a more loyal member of staff to shout a them on My behalf. It was so upsetting I was unable to finish My lightly scrambled eggs with foie gras and Chef had to take it away to make the disposings.

He may begin a special relationship with Mr. Wimbledon and to make the honesty, I am a little concerned about this one in case Mr. Wimbledon starts sending My calls to voicemail. After all, there are only 5 sides of the draw in any given tournament and if I have to face players in any match other than the final I’ll know there has been the switchings.

There is, however, a gold lining on every cloud and hopefully Sue Barker will start sending him messages on his MurrayBerry which will make My life much more peaceful.
