Based on last year, all rounds best of 3 sets and 3rd set is normal, it can have TB in 3rd set too like 7-6.

According to Wiki, (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_Wimbledon_Championships_%E2%80%93_Men%27s_Dou bles) last year only the first round was best of three and that was apparently due to the bad weather, the second round through to the final were all best of five. in 2010 it was best of five from first round onwards. I can't find anything on the official website so I've tweeted them.

OK if it's 3 sets I'll go with my prediction above, but if it's 5 sets I'll say:

Wimbledon Mens Doubles is best of 5 tie-break sets except in the deciding set which follows the Advantage Rule.

You can see last years draw here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_Wimbledon_Championships_–_Men's_Doubles#Draw) and it clearly shows matches going to 5 sets from R2 thru' to the Final. Also, the page referred to prefaces the draw with this comment:-

The Men's Doubles event was originally scheduled to begin on June 22, but due to bad weather it was delayed until the next day.

To accommodate other rain delayed matches, the first-round matches were played best of three sets, with best of five set scoring being resumed in the second round.

I know best of 3 sets in men doubles isn't normal. I mean say if it is best of 3 sets then 3rd set scoreline is normal set instead of tiebreaker set. 7-6 or 6-4, etc instead of 10-8 like most tour do now.

Haven't heard anything to the contrary, so think we can assume it's still best of 5. It's the other slams that have had best of 3 for some time. As you say Fiona the change in the 1st round last year was due to the weather.
