I agree SG - Olly can be really proud of how he played today. I'm sure had he won the third set things might have been different but he has nothing to reproach himself for.

As we know these days there's also the physicality of the game - look how Andy struggled with that at Olly's age. Loadsa time yet.

A few points here and there would have made a huge difference - especially that double fault at set point. Hope Oli is proud of the way he played - once he's over the disappointment. By no means outplayed and really merited the wildcard.

Strange that Oliver Golding didn't play in the Wimbledon qualifying draw. Maybe he didn't want to or they didn't offer him a qualifying wildcard.
