Very very cool!

Loved the gradual-but-spontaneous standing ovation when they announced him. Loved watching him laugh at the mickey-taking. Loved the way Kim was pretty much stuffing her scarf in her mouth at times to keep from laughing out loud.

There was a tweet beforehand from one of the team saying that although Andy was in the audience, they never mentioned tennis, it was all about the House of Lords. All I can say is, don't believe everything you see in the press!!

I'm sure there used to be an 'uncut' version of MTW though at one time.

Sometimes you get 'uncut' versions on Dave (not davech, the TV channel Dave...!) like you get QI XL, but I can't remember if they ever did them eg on BBC2 - if they did, I don't think they do now....

None of us would have wanted Andy to lose that final, but it does seem that 'the Murray Knockers' have been largely silenced. That he cared so much about winning Wimbledon, that he was determined to overcome his tears and fulfill his committment, that he was so generous in his compliments to Roger and managed such a courteous speech seems to have won him many new friends.

We, of course, knew what sort of a guy he was anyway - I'm glad that a few more people now know the truth - lets hope some of the nasty comments now stop .

I watched it and recorded it. I always watch Mock The Week and this was really special. Loved the standing ovation and the respect shown even with the humour. Andy and Kim looked so happy and were obviously enjoying themselves thoroughly. Thought Dara saying Andy was the winner at the end was really great.:thumbup::clap:

According to the iPlayer episode information you can watch it on that medium until next Sunday 22nd July.
However, on the BBC2 programme schedule for today it says 'one month left' which is a bit confusing.

FINALLY got around to watching my recording of this. It was so good to see Andy looking relaxed and enjoying himself. Loved the ovation he got.
