Absolutely brilliant. In this house there is the unedifying sight of a 70 year-old woman with tears of happiness streaming down her face.
I said earlier that if Andy ended up with nothing I would probably cut my throat! Bit extreme I know, but now like you (and 12 months older) I am crying tears of happiness and wandering round the house saying 'thank you God, thank you God'. There were times when Nole looked up to the heavens for helpbut tonight He was looking out for our boy and I for one say 'thank you God'.

Andy, you were superb!:swingin: You go for gold!
The spectators were great today too - I hope they are as vocal behind Andy on Sunday.
Hi everyone. Not posted really since Wimbledon as i've been busy but i've still been watching and supporting Andy and i am so happy for him to make the final. He deserves to win gold more than anyone else including Federer (he's already won so much it's Andy's turn now). I will be crossing everything and forcing everyone i know to force everything (not that they need the encouragement, they all seem love him since the final). Well done Andy, a true legend of tennis, GS title or not.

If you go straight to the BBC website (if you can get it in Canada) http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/olympics/2012/live-video/p00w3070 and click on the timeline, you can watch the match now, even though it says the channel is closed!
Amazing! So proud to be an Andy fan right now - he's played so well all tournament and again today. It was a high quality match from both of them - Andy did so well to hold on to his serve in the second set and then break Nole. Really pleased that he's guaranteed at least a silver medal, he deserves it. :)

What an atmosphere on Centre Court as Murray clinches a place in the gold medal match. I've never heard a roar like it. #OlympicFever

Thanks so much but it won't let me access it. I can't access any of the Beeb video stuff, sadly. Will have to wait a day I guess. Well worth it!
WOW WOW WOW Absolutely Brilliannnnnnt Andy...and does he deserve it ...you bet !!!!! He has played in the singles, doubles and mixed doubles ...if anyone deserves a medal in these Olympics .....ITS ANDY :):):):)
Hi folks,
I realise given how rarely I post on this forum that I have the cheek of the devil asking this - but, did anyone record the end of this match?? I set it to record both on my FreeSat and my Mum & Dad's FreeSat and BOTH stopped recording at the same place, 4-4 in the second set! :(
Over the years I've kept some of Andy's matches on DVD and this is one I would dearly have loved to add to my collection - is there a way someone can help me out??
I've no idea if posting this is a breach of forum rules - if so then please accept my profuse apologies and obviously feel free to delete this post. I'm just pretty desperate and don't know who else to ask?? :(
I realise I'll be able to see the match on the Olympic iPlayer but that won't stay there forever - anyway, no worries and again I hope I'm not breaching any rules by asking - if someone can help, please can you PM me, or e-mail: folk.singer@btinternet.com . Thanks so much! :)
Hoping Andy can grab the gold medal!! :)
Take care... :)

Watched a lot of tennis over the last few years but nothing like that. @andy_murray en fuego. Couldn't deserve the final more.
Best match and fight I've seen from Andy. Sooooo proud, kept thinking Djokers was going to come back any second, and then time ran out.

I'm so overwhelmed... and so proud.
Proud to have been in Andy's corner through thick and thin. Now go Andy and get the Fed. Good luck Silver is guaranteed but GOING 4 GOLD NOW and a wee bucket full of points.
the big difference today was the amount of times andy served well when facing break points, can you imagine the criticism Andy would receive iif he fialled to convert the Bp nole did

AWWW people are finally begining to see what we saw all along in Andy. He was a very unappreciated player
I mean i love Roger Federer but he does get a lot of praise and i feel Andy in the past wasnt really given much in the past but now i feel he is getting there :):) LOVE YOU ANDY !
I hope in years to come, we can all look back on this month of tennis, and remember it with great fondness and satisfaction.

I mean i love Roger Federer but he does get a lot of praise and i feel Andy in the past wasnt really given much in the past but now i feel he is getting there :):) LOVE YOU ANDY !He even had the commies today on his side. Didn't go unnoticed by me how biased they were. And he doesn't just get praise. He gets hyperbole, fawning comments and total one-sided commentary at times.
Slightly off-topic now, but I just wanted to say how much I really, really, REALLY appreciate the kindness of some of these forum members! :)
I feel very guilty that my "offline life" prevents me from getting on here very often, but believe me when I say I'm cheering for Andy as hard as anyone in the world. The kindness that several of you guys have shown to me tonight (see my earlier post) means so much! :)
Today's win is very special. I hope to come over here on Sunday and share in the collective joy as Andy wins the Gold for Great Britain!!
Once again, everyone - THANK YOU for your kindness! :)
Take care... :)

I think Nole summed it up very well:
"He played better in the important moments," said Djokovic
Wow! That wa truly amazing! Andy played brilliantly, didn't drop serve and really upped it when it mattered. I thought that the quality of tennis was better than the federe mr vs Delpo match and the rallies were brilliant! I remember one shot where Andy dived for the ball, got it and it floated to hit the line! Amazing! Novak played well but Andy better at the crucial points
Was such a pleasure to watch this live. So proud of Andy! The atmosphere was the best I have ever seen it. I hope we helped Andy out a bit ;) to be a part of that was brilliant! The last set especially the noise just grew and grew! And at the end the roar was deafening! An experience I will never forget!
Truly amazing. Just watching my recording. Watched it at work although some people don't realize they shouldn't talk to me at certain times. Doesn't matter how much I tell them. :grrr:
Wore my GB shirt with Andy pic & signature on the front. Just got it in the last sale they had for charity.
Had Johnny Mac commentating here and he seemed emotional when Murray won. He was truly happy for him and told him he will be routing for him on Sunday but not to tell Fed.:OGwave::GBflag::olympics:

Absolutely delighted Andy beat Nole in straight sets and by all accounts was pretty awesome at times! I was at other event yesterday but was able to follow the match. I was at Wimbledon earlier in the week and was fortunate to see the Baggy match. Fabulous Andy is in the title match and whilst a challenge hope he can take the gold!

Amazing - thanks to Sally for texting me the result. Had to wait till last night/this morning to watch the whole thing. First set great......Andy will need to play better than in the second though to beat Fed.
