Another stalwart of the ATP Tour, on the doubles side, bowed out at Flushing Meadows this week.
Mark Knowles is all-round great guy who earned much respect from his fellow tennis players.
He's announced his retirement and plans to spend time at his Tennis Foundation.

As his family grew, both in size and in priority, the Bahamian embraced the door in front of him with open arms, decreasing the significance of his career ambitions.
