Andy has always had the natural ability to at least match the other 3 guys at the top. In fact, Murray has skills that even those undoubted legends possess. A mental fragility has been the only thing that has halted Andy's progress to the top so far.
But no more, Andy made the decicion last night towards the end of the 4th set that he didn't want to go through the pain of being a runner up for the 5th time. The physical pain would be worth the while and even though he had spent 5 hours more on court than Djokovic, he was the fitter guy. MENTALLY FITTER!!!!
This could be the beginnning of a Murray Dynasty, I'll always have my doubts about his ability to do it on clay, but for the rest of the year I'm convinced that Andy is now the man.
Ivan Lendl deserves some credit for this, but I suspect that Murray is as responsible for making him look a good coach as he is for turning Andy into the best player on the planet.
