The bad news is that this presumably means they won't get to Shanghai by tomorrow's OS entry deadline? There's no SE provision in doubles! :grrr:
I obviously got this wrong! They ARE in the Shanghai draw, up here (http://en.shanghairolexmasters.com/draws/2012/pdf/2012_doubles.pdf) - and if they beat Isner & Harrison in R1, then it's Lindstedt and Tecau again in R2!!

Really hope Danny and Max have more success this time but not holding my breath. Can't understand why Milos is playing. He's played too much as it is.

Sharpening those volleying skills!
Pleased that they won today.

TennisScotland just resent this tweet (3minutes ago)
Tennis Scotland @tennisscotland (https://twitter.com/tennisscotland) In the doubles - Colin Fleming (@colin_fleming (https://twitter.com/colin_fleming)) and Ross Hutchins (@RoscoHutchins (https://twitter.com/RoscoHutchins))
are up against Fabio Fognini and Martin Klizan. #VAMOS (https://twitter.com/search?q=%23VAMOS&src=hash)!
And got immediately jumped on in twitter terms by Hfwardhouse, me and others to tell them the match had already been played and WON by Flemchins!!!
;)
(in fairness they originally made the tweet at 03.59am but probably didn't check before hitting send again).

Huey and Marray are in a tb in the first set against Bhupathi and Bopanna
edit - they lost the tb 9-11
Sallydaisy
11-10-2012, 07:34
Could do with Marray/Huey knocking out Bhubop here ... it'd increase Flemchins chances of making it to the WTF's possibly as the ALT pairing.
H&M lose 6-7(9) 4-6
Flemchins beat Lindstedt and Tecau 6-4 7-5 :cheer::cheer:
Lindstedt & Tecau must hate the sight of British players in the draws! :swingin:
(in fairness they originally made the tweet at 03.59am but probably didn't check before hitting send again).
Or possibly their computer went down.

Hope they can beat Bhupathi/Bopanna and edge closer to the Alt place in London.
So happy that my favourite doubles team are back to what they were doing before Colin got injured :dance:
Really hope they can get a place at the O2. Would dearly love to watch them play there.

Great win by Colin and Ross, they need to win this tournament to go ahead of Bhupathi/Bopanna.
Flemchins are first on Stadium court at 2pm(local) - 7am(UK)...:sleepy:
Really hope they win this torny and do well in Paris to make sure they get to play in the O2!!!!
Edit: Things are looking good, they take the first set 7-6(4)!!
yes - come on Flemchins!
Crucially they've just saved 2 bp's in the second game of the second set - with 2 aces from Ross
Flemchins serving to stay in the second set - looks as though the match will be decided by the dreaded mtb. (Unless they can break back of course!!)
BhuBop win the second 6-3
MTB time
Come on Flemchins!!!!!!
Sallydaisy
13-10-2012, 07:36

:crying::crying::crying:
They lost in the CTB. Such a shame because they really needed to beat Bhubop to stand a chance of being doubles Alts at the WTF in November.
Well done Team India who toughed it out in the closing moments winning 6'7, 6'3, 10'8.
Awww! what a shame!!!.....thanks everyone for your posts!!!

A great fight but sadly Colin and Ross just came up a bit short, disappointing for them in their WTF chances. Still sure they can build on the good form.

Awww sad they lost. Bummeroo.
Paes/Stepanek have beaten Bhupathi/Bopanna in the final 6-7 6-3 10-5
Any 'perceived' rivalries/ needle in the Men's singles game (and there is a lot of frankly bizarre, speculative writing about that) - pales into insignificance compared with the ongoing Paes-Bhupathi-Bopanna saga. Even WTA player Sania Mirza got dragged into this during the Olympics debacle.
And this match will undoubtedly have had some needle to it.
RoastLamb
14-10-2012, 15:29
Was hoping Paes would win!!! Ha ha to Team India. Sorry but their childish behaviour cost them potential medals at the Olympics.
