Nishikori withdrew from the Kooyong Classic.
AAMI Kooyong Classic @AAMIClassic (https://twitter.com/AAMIClassic) Sadly Kei NIshikori this evening withdrew from #AAMIClassic (https://twitter.com/search?q=%23AAMIClassic&src=hash) following a practice session.
He has been replaced by Ivan Dodig.
Andy is preparing at Kooyong - http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/tennis/andy-murray-is-in-career-best-form-heading-into-the-australian-open-according-to-mother-judy/story-e6frfgao-1226549029892. I wonder if he will play an exho match.

It's only an exhibition event but if Kooyong is anything like The Boodles, here in the UK before Wimbledon, these guys usually put up a decent match. Some interesting scorelines to report this morning so far!
DEL POTRO d MATHIEU 6'4, 3'6, 7'6
HEWITT d RAONIC 6-3, 1-6, 7-6
BAGHDATIS d TIPSAREVIC 6'1, 1'0, ret'd (elbow)
DODIG (who replaced Nishikori) took the first set 6'4 v BERDYCH
;)
But Berdy struck back and took the 2nd set 6'2 ...
... and has just broken Dodig in game 4 of the 3rd so is now servng at *3'1 up

Kooyong Schedule for Jan 10 from 11am:
Ivan Dodig, V Milos Raonic
Tomas Berdych V Lleyton Hewitt
Simone Bolelli (replaces Tipsy) V Paul-Henri Mathieu
No sign of this match though: Del Potro v Baghdatis
I think Dodig must have replaced Nishikori, not Berdych?

Bonzer!
Hewitt wins in Kooyong and Tomic wins in Sydney.
All Australia will be cheering today.
But how far will either of them get at Melbourne Park ...

Awesome result for Lleyton but of course may not be that significant.
