The email from the ATP has now gone out re the tickets so they will start selling like hot cakes
Only barclays. For pre-sale The code won't go out till 7th march
And the website is messing up and not allowing processing of the order
I wanted to get monday tickets but couldn't get through right at the end :(

Xenon I phoned because I knew you could not pick your seats as you could on Ticketmaster. Think a lot have already gone for the final but you should be all right for the round robin sessions. Good luck
Booked my tickets - what a kerfuffle. Their system went down mid order, then I got cut off but they rang me back. Then when my email confirmation came they'd got the order wrong and my name wrong. Goodness knows whether I've got what I paid for or been re-credited with the error and debited the right amount. Will await the credit card bill with baited breath!
Anyway am going all day Friday, Saturday, Sunday (both these sessions with Mr P in tow) and Monday. It's part of my birthday pressy.
Gill and I talked about going to the semi's this year but neither of us are Barclays customers so by the time we can buy tickets all the good ones have gone. It's such a lot of money to pay and then be near the back!
I meant to get a barclaycard solely for the WTF but what with moving house, then christmas I didn't get round to it in time :crying::crying:

What number can I use?
Ah found it. Will ty calling tomorrow morning as closed just now

Not so Caro - they never offer all the good seats in presale. In fact for some events, other than tennis, I've found venues cynically preying on fans' desperation for tix and actually offering pretty poor seats in the presale. They usually only offer so many seats in a presale - so it's not all comers - when they're gone they're gone and the seats kept back then go into the next phase. Hope that makes sense.

Received an e-mail from Barclays also but remember this conversation from last year re tickets and holding back better seats. Think I'll wait though having been every year and never booked.......perhaps I won't need to.:boogie:

I was offered the full range of seats but had to cut my cloth. If you buy now through Barclays then you get 25% off a day pass - which is quite a saving.

I have all my tickets only going Sat, Sun and Monday this year. Booked up at Docklands Travelodge £30 per night, couldn't believe it, £60-£70 last year.
I'll be waiting for the final release of tickets again, just before the event.

Did you go last year Linda? What were the seats last waiting till the last minute?
I didn't go last year. The year before, I got a ticket the day before I went - which meant I knew who I would see - on the lower level, row S but it was a good view.
I haven't had any problems getting a lower-tier ticket the day before for the round-robin - as soon as I knew when Andy was playing. You need to book in advance for the semis and the final.
Am trying to save money at the moment so will leave it till later to book tickets

Don't be too disheartened - it's extremely unlikely they put all the best seats in the presale. Just be on your marks when the 7 March comes round.
I took the plunge and bought ticket for first Monday afternoon. Will see whether to get more later
Gill and I are hoping to go to the semis both sessions so will try on 7th March

Received my code this morning and tried for two tickets but told I had run out of time. I hate it when you only have so long as I'm never very quick when booking on line. So we have decided that Wimbledon this year and the US Open in 2014 will have to do. Not too upset as I have been every year and seen Andy play twice. I shall just watch it on TV and think of the money we have saved!:big grin:

Surely row z is ok? Anywhere in the 02 is a great view to be honest. Ive gone for the dearer seats for the friday but the cheaper ones for the semi as i need my dosh for Wimbledon and US Open really but really didn't want to not go to end of Season tour finals because i enjoy it so much, and its a nice birthday pressie for my mum too!!
What days do you try on Ticketmaster for Wimby tho? Some are harder to get than others. Ive got centre on the first day back in 2011 SAW Rafa then Andy was the last match me and my mum were so excited! lol, also got them on court 3 last year for mid Saturday. Also back in 2011 for ladies Quarters and Semi's. But tried for Second monday and final tickets before and got nowt. So as i said depends what you go for.
Row Z is quite a way back although admittedly still level 1, but you pay the same as row A. It's a lot of money and if I'm going I want to be as near the front as poss. May try nearer the time.

To be honest I think I would rather be in Row Z than row A
OK in row A or any of the lower rows you do have a great view of the players but its difficult to see the whole of the court. There is just no way of knowing if the ball is in or out and somehow that takes a bit off the play.
Last year we had seats in H and then in L and I would have said L was the most enjoyable.
Go for Z would be my recommendation. It isnt right at the back - they go into double letters anyway but its still a great view

Just got my tickets, going thurs night and friday afternoon again. Worked q well last year. Not impressed with the axs site though, liked ticketmaster where you can choose your seats. Why do they assume people want to sit at the ends? I like the side. Anyway after playing around I got seats I wanted. Down the front thursday night and 2nd row of the back on friday. Not impressed with the booking charges either, such a rip off. Hotel now booked too, we were q restricted on this as we like to stay by the excel and they have some big show on til the thursday. Just have to pay for it now, yikes!
Well personally, as I've said before, I too would prefer to be further away and get a better view of the tennis rather than be up close to the players. I'm sure there'll be more good seats available in the general sale.
SG, I'm registered with Ticketmaster, as is my card - that gives you a lot longer to complete your booking and takes the stress out of it as you don't need to put your address and card details in every time. Just need to make sure when you get a new card that you change the details before you next need to use the site.
Humph! Just had an email about my tix (booked them on phone weeks ago) to say they're attaching new e-tix to replace the earlier ones. Thing is they didn't send any before and these new ones are only for some of the sessions I booked. I can see I'm going to have to take all the booking emails with me in Nov!

I might now be able to get a couple of days in London that week, but looks like its only the Level 4 tickets that are available for the beginning of the week.I suffer from vertigo and given the warning on the ticket site, I think I shouldn't bother. But of course the lower level tickets are sold out. Does anyone know if the lower level will really be sold out? Or will a few get released later. Or do I have to go through the rip off viagogo? Thanks everyone!

10-07-2013, 16:06
I'm hoping more will be released nearer the time cos the viagogo ones are ridiculously priced and are in the nosebleed seats - really wish I'd booked ages ago but didn't think we'd be in London this time ... and now we will be the only good seats are in the front row and well unless my lottery ticket comes up I shan't be buying those!
I'm sure there will be more tickets released much nearer the time. A couple of years ago I bought a ticket the night before I went, after the OOP came out - and it was a lower level ticket (admittedly towards the back).

Yes, if I can afford it with all the house renovations, we will look nearer the time as they usually do release more. I did look when they were first released but wanted to go to the semis (never been to semis before) and there were no lower level tickets except right at the back so the decent ones must have gone to the Barclays / O2 pre-sale customers.
Thanks for all the info :) I will wait and see if I get my work trip to London confirmed then I can organise a couple of days' leave around it and just take my chances with the tickets. Fingers crossed. It would probably be for the Monday/Tuesday anyway so hopefully might have more of a chance. Obviously mainly hoping I would see Andy, but would be happy to "make do" with any of the other 7!

Agreed even on a Monday night the trains are fairly busy. Also it is easy to get from Waterloo to Kingston. If it is late I normally go to London Victoria as the trains are busier from there than London Bridge.

I would be alone, and whilst the train journey would be fine, it's the walking back to my aunties from Norbiton, which would be the worry (I mentioned Kingston before as a habit as that's the area we refer to when we say where she lives), although it;s just round the corner from my aunties, my cousins have been mugged before on the way home, so gotta be cautious.

Got back from New York yesterday. Oh my word had an awesome time. Saw loads and loads of tennis. Did get to see Andy live which was fabulous. Saw him in his opening match on Ashe v LLodra. Also live saw Dan Evans win his second round match against Tomic and Laura Robson win rounds 1 and 2. Also saw Heather Watson round 1 against Simona Halep unfortunately she lost but it was great to see her fit and healthy and back on the courts. Also saw Sabine Lisicki win her 2nd round match also Alize Cornet. Oh and Li Na win round 2 against Sofia Arvidsson.
Ashe night sessions are something special the best match i saw was on my last night Del Potro v Hewitt. 5 sets of fabulous tennis and it was amazing to see Hewitt come thro it. I also on night sessions saw Serena Williams, Victoria Azarenka and Novak Djokovic.
Aside from the tennis did a fair bit of sight seeing too and of course Shopping. Already saving to go back in 2015. Just love NEW YORK.
Im glad its not long to Barclays ATP Tour finals now. Something else to look forward to.

Very envious indeed! Sounds like you had a wonderful time. The match between Hewitt and Delpo must have been amazing. I am off to my mother's on Thursday so won't get to see Andy's probable match against Berdych. Just hope he can get through it!!!!!

No, I haven't had my tickets yet. Seem to remember last year they were sent out just before the tournament started. I have seven sessions so they cannot forget all of those!

I've had my e-tickets for months but I did buy them in the pre-sale. I did also request e-tickets, otherwise I imagine you'll just get the usual ones through the post. Have managed to sell my final ticket and both my semis sessions. Still going on the Friday and Saturday. Just need to change my rail ticket home now.

Might see you on the Saturday then Pat - would be good to catch up even for a wee while. I'm hoping we manage to catch up with Sally as well?! And Xe if you're about .... Looks like we definitely won't be going to the tennis - but I think I can probably persuade everyone to hit the O2 for a while to see folk and to check out the practice sessions. Just gutted the tix are stupid money :crying:

We are going to both semi finals we bought the tickets way back in January, we will still go even if Andy isn't playing.
The only problem is I can't seem to print the E Tickets out.

Mine came yesterday and I thought it was my tickets again for Strictly Come Dancing. Not keen on e-tickets but am sure it makes it a lot cheaper!
Definitely would like to catch up with you Jane and everyone going Friday/Saturday.

Doubly great seats lol!
And I think block 107 is opposite player's box (if Andy does play) and near player's exit

I will be there all day Friday and all day Saturday. I got my etickets last night. I am in the "rafters" both days but have been there for part of every year and it doesn't bother me. I have been right down at the front almost on the court but didn't like that so much.
Hope everyone going has a great time. Can't afford it this year sadly cos of the house.
Hope to go again next year. Is 2014 the final year at O2?
I have never managed to get seats right at the front. Is everyone who gets those seats Barclays or O2customers?

It's there until 2015 which I take to mean that 2015 will be the last year at the O2 rather than that the last year will be 2014.

The e mail came from AXS Guest Services
guestservicesuk@boxoffice.axs.com
That is the e mail address if you have to contact them re the tickets.
I must admit I didn't think it would be the O2 tickets so soon, but have put the e mail into my flagged e mails, hope you can retrieve the e mail if you have deleted it.

When you ordered your tickets did you put them to be sent to you electronicly, I put mine as standard delivery so I assume they will come in the post. Thanks for the email address tho I will check it out.

Sarah really sorry I can't remember whether I asked for them to be sent electronically or not,, I remember getting the e mail from the O2 but I was busy packing to go to South Africa, that morning, my friend kept telling me to finish off the packing rather than apply for tickets for the tennis, but I still applied for the tickets, even though I only had about 2 hours before we were picked up to go to Heathrow.
I think you should be able to find out though were your tickets have got too, let us know how you get on,
