Ouch!!!
Fleming/Marray get Nestor/Youzhny in R1 and Inglot/Huey have to play Del Potro/Llodra!

Delgado and Skupski didn't get in. The only Challenger this week is in France again (Quimper) and I suspect it'll be well subscribed but they should get into based on rankings if they want to.

 It says on your list Nestor is playing with Kubot not Youzhny. Strange all round coz his wife is expecting their second child this month so I do wonder why he's in Europe at all.

erm, not my list.
;)

The Entry List is taken from the ATP/tournament information and it's based on the doubles players themselves stating they wish to enter an event 2 weeks ahead of it starting. I guess a lot can happen between the Entry List being published and the Draw being done so it's non uncommon for players to switch partners for various reasons.

In this case Nestor originally planned to play with Kubot but whatever the reason he's now partnering Youzhny instead.

It is odd though that he's in Europe if his wife is due to give birth soon ... The only thing I can think of is that Rotterdam is a 500 so he might be hoping to pick up more points for any wins they get?

No sign of Marming playing today so they'll start their Rotterdam campaign tomorrow I guess.

Even more peculiar!!!

Nestor/Youzhny have withdrawn to be replaced by a pair of locals as alts.
Youzhny didn't complete his singles match earlier so it might be that he's too injured
to play doubles or maybe Danny has had news from his wife!

Either way it makes life a little easier for Marming!

(ALT) Stephan Fransen & Wesley Koolhof (NED/NED) vs Colin Fleming & Jonny Marray

 Say what? Maybe Dan's wife has gone into labour?

Or it could just be that Youzhny is injured.

That sucks that they had to retire when they were leading. Bummer. Hope Johnny's calf injury isn't too bad.

Were you watching? I meant to but had to phone someone and couldn't risk the distraction.

What a pity if this partnership is snookered by injury so soon.

Steven ‏@GBtennis (https://twitter.com/GBtennis) @SallyDaisy10is (https://twitter.com/SallyDaisy10is) Sadly, Jonny retired with what looks like a calf injury according to @nicklester (https://twitter.com/nicklester) :-(

That was rotten luck. Hope the injury is not too serious. Feel sorry for Colin.

Hopefully the injury isn't serious and Jonny will be back in action soon. The pair were scheduled to play Memphis (indoor clay) w/c 18th and then go to Delray Beach w/c 25th and presumably stay in the States for I/Wells and Miami.

What with the calf injury and apparently the need to get his shoulder fixed* I wonder if Colin might have to find someone else to partner over the next few weeks. He's currently #26 and Jonny #15 (a career high!) and that combination got them automatic entry (and seeding) in most of the 500/1000's. So, Fleming needs someone ranked in the 20's/30's at the very least to keep playing at the top level.

* a problem since the start of 2013 - extract from the The Star (http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:7x4AVNVW4akJ:www.thestar.co.uk/sport/other-sports/holidays-are-a-pain-for-sheffield-s-jonny-marray-1-5341918&hl=en&client=firefox-a&tbo=d&gl=uk&strip=1) (a Sheffield newspaper).

SHEFFIELD’S Jonny Marray will be forced to delay an operation on a sports hernia.

Marray, aged 32, the Wimbledon doubles champion from last summer with Denmark’s Freddie Nielsen, has been bothered by the injury since resuming training for the 2013 season. He planned to have a minor operation after the Australian Open but the surgeon is on holiday leaving Marray to play through the pain until the next break in his schedule.

“It’s frustrating but the lady who is the only person who performs these procedures has gone on annual leave for three weeks,” he told The Star.
“I’m still able to play and although I’m just short of 100 per cent fit it isn’t affecting my spring or power.
“It’s more of a problem with the stiffness it is causing around the area. This would have been the ideal time to have it sorted so I’ll have to check the calendar to work out when to get it done.”
Marray is certain to have resolved the problem before the French Open at the end of May by which time his new partnership with Colin Fleming should be in full flow.
