Perhaps Jamie wanted to stay in Europe? Or have a week at home in London?

Colin is defending Champion (with Ross Hutchins) here in Delray Beach so I'm sure he'll want to try and defend his title. I think John is ranked 6 or 7 places higher than Jamie so maybe that too was a consideration but I don't think so because there were lower ranked pairs on the entry list so Jamie with John might have squeaked in.

Whatever, there are very few of the doubles guys who stick together for more than a few months at the moment.
