Ben Rothenberg @BenRothenberg 21m
He picked that up from Steven who tweeted this morning:
Steven @GBtennis (https://twitter.com/GBtennis) 19h (https://twitter.com/GBtennis/status/322867748155830272) Houston ATP: @jamie_murray (https://twitter.com/jamie_murray) & @johnwpeers (https://twitter.com/johnwpeers) AUS beat Almagro & Rámirez Hidalgo ESP 63 76(5) :-)
& will play the Bryan Brothers in the Final
Houston ctd: I tuned in just in time to hear the umpire say "Game set match Mary Pierce"
then realised it was the right match after all ;-)

What a brilliant result!
:dance::bravo::dance:
I fell asleep after the first set so missed the comeback but I thought they'd be able to come through.
It's Jamie's 8th ATP doubles title and his first on clay.
It's John's 1st ATP doubles title - last year he won a lot of challenger titles.
Wimbledon a tad ambitious at this stage ... unless they are given a Wildcard.
The clay season is ahead and there's only 8 weeks of that including 3 Masters and a Slam event which the lads rankings won't allow entry so earning points to get high enough for a direct entry to Wimble will be tricky.
also on his Twitter thread..@jamie_murray...
Thanks to everyone for all the nice messages throughout the week. Great week for the team and a title in the bag! On to sarasota tomorrow.
the beeb took no (http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/tennis/22141581)te
"Any time you beat the Bryans you're going to be happy," said Murray.

The ATP (http://www.atpworldtour.com/News/Tennis/2013/04/15/Houston-Saturday-Doubles-Final.aspx) also have a great report about Jamie and John's win!!!
Opening paragraphs ...
Great Britain's Jamie Murray (http://www.atpworldtour.com/Tennis/Players/MC81.aspx) and Australia's John Peers (http://www.atpworldtour.com/Tennis/Players/PC96.aspx) rallied from behind to upset top seeds Bob Bryan (http://www.atpworldtour.com/Tennis/Players/B588.aspx) and Mike Bryan (http://www.atpworldtour.com/Tennis/Players/B589.aspx) on Saturday at the US Men's Clay Court Championship (http://www.atpworldtour.com/Tennis/Tournaments/Houston.aspx) in Houston, defeating the four-time champions 1-6, 7-6(3), 12-10 in 84 minutes to win their first title as a team.
Though they were broken twice and unable to convert three break points in the opening set, the British/Australian team saved all four break points in the second set to force a tie-break, in which they won seven straight points.
In the decisive third set tie-break, Murray/Peers saved a match point, before converting their second to claim the title.
... and a piccy of the victorious duo!
