So much red track, so much dust, so much dirt on my feet. It can only mean one thing, we're at the start of the clay court season and we begin at the streets of Monte Carlo. :)
As always rules are posted here (http://www.andymurrayfanforum.com/forums/showthread.php?1630-Bubble-Gap-Championship-2013&p=116180&viewfull=1#post116180). The leader board is also there updated with results from the 1st 3 races. The aim of this competition is to guess the bubble gap after Monte Carlo. The current race rankings are as follows:
http://img546.imageshack.us/img546/2482/racepremc.png
The current bubble gap is 1580. That's Andy's score(2630) – Tsonga's score(1050) = 1580.
2 250 tournaments are running this week - Houston and Casablanca. Red players are in Houston and green players are in Casablanca. Players in grey are not playing in Monte Carlo.
Only Almagro can affect the BG this week and that's only if he wins Houston, which would reduce the BG by the grand total of 10 points. :)
The highest possible bubble gap is 2580. That's Andy winning the title, Tsonga going out in his 1st match and no-one else overtaking him.
The smallest bubble gap is 845. This involves Andy going out in his 1st match with Tsonga winning Monte Carlo and Gasquet the finalist.
So in summary, your guess is between 845 and 2580. If you don't want to do any maths then just guess a random number and see how things turn out!
Remember that you can't guess the same number as someone else and once you've posted your guess you can't change it.
Ranking points on offer at Monte Carlo are as follows:
R1: 0
R2: 45
R3: 90
QF: 180
SF: 360
F: 600
W: 1000
Good luck to all who take part and may the best driver win! :trophy:
