The BNP Paribas Classic (http://www.bnpparibastennisclassic.com/)is an exhibition event held in West London at the Hurlingham Club in the week before Wimbledon at the same time as The Boodles (another exhibition event). It gives the top players an opportunity to play one or two 'competitive' matches on grass not far from Wimbledon itself where most will be staying/practising/training in readiness for the Grass Slam.

If you can afford tickets starting at £295.00 this is what's on offer ...

Order of Play confirmed for BNP Paribas Tennis Classic
Managed by IMG, the global sports, fashion and media company, the BNP Paribas Tennis Classic takes place at the height of the summer tennis season. In escaping the crowds, the tournament gives spectators the opportunity to combine unforgettable tennis with first-rate dining experiences.

Matches take place on Centre Court, which seats an intimate crowd of 600, tennis players mingle with guests off court and there’s also the opportunity to play tennis with the professionals in the PRO-AMs.

So, this year why not escape the crowds, sit back, relax and soak up the Garden Party atmosphere as you enjoy VIP hospitality and watch tennis from the stars of today and the ultimate Legends of the game in one of London’s most intimate and breath-taking settings.

IMG can now announce the latest line up of tennis legends and junior players that will join top seeded ATP players Andy Murray, Jo-Wilfried-Tsonga, Tommy Haas and Kei Nishikori at the BNP Paribas Tennis Classic from 18-22nd June.

Ridiculously expensive.

I'm thinking that as Rafa has pulled out of Halle he might play one or two matches here, as he did in 2009 before deciding whether he was fit enough to play Wimbly. So the ticket price could be worth it.

I'm just totally hacked off at the prices - I tweeted that "grass roots" (pun fully intended) fans have no chance. Am tempted to post on Hurlingham's FB page.........trying to keep myself under control.

That is crazy expensive! Would never be able to justify paying that much

If only I could though. Cracking line up for Andy and the doubles!

That's great news. Exhibition matches cannot be taken too seriously, if you remember last year he lost to both Djoko and Tipsy at Stoke Park and then made the final at Wimbledon.
