View Full Version : Royal Marsden charity tennis raffle
Hey guys
As you may have heard I have been collecting some memorabilia from players to raffle off for Royal Marsden charity, inspired by Ross Hutchins and Rally against Cancer. After a month of that, I have finally set it up! I hope loads of people take part. The first 10 prizes are open to just those in UK but RM11 and RM12 are open to everyone! Only costs £3 and you can buy as many or as few as you want and pick your prizes!

It's till about 19th August (after Ramadan am at camp for a week so had deadline shortly after I come back)
Brilliant job Xe and it must have been a lot of work getting the prizes together too. You deserve a lot of credit for this.
I may be extending the deadline by a week partly for my ease as with the current deadline I will hve only been back from co for 2 days and ideally I would like a week for a final push.
Also we may have another lot for the raffle... A pretty cool one from royal marsden which I will keep you updated on :)
The legal eagle in me thinks, for your own sake, that you should set a clear deadline Xe........so folks won't feel disappointed or misled.

Ok, I will just leave it as the original deadline then. I do have the deadline in the information of the raffle tbh (underneath the prizes). In bold as well. Technically it should be clear but do you think I have to keep the deadline at the top then? :confused:

As a few people have enquired, it might be an idea to make it plain at the top - could save you endless questions.

Just to let you know that 2 new prizes have been added to the list! They are all from the Rally Against Cancer event and consists of Queens 2013 programmes, each one signed by one of the celebs. The programmes have been split into 2, Team Tim and Team Andy
RM13 Team Tim: 1 Queens 2013 programme signed by Sir Richard Branson, 1 programme signed by Eddie Redmayne and 1 programme signed by Michael McIntyre
RM14 Team Andy: 1 Queens 2013 programme signed by Boris Johnson, 1 programme signed by Jonathan Ross and 1 programme signed by Jimmy Carr
Great pieces of memorablia from a great event! Please feel free to buy raffles for it if you like any of the celebs (more chance of winning too as late addition and no raffles bought yet ;) ) and feel free to spread the word to anyone you know who is a big fan of the celebs too!

Well done to the winners. It's nice to know some of them personally. I'm very unlucky in raffles but such a wonderful cause so truly not too upset. Well done Zainab.
