Andy will be heading to the Far East in October and has indicated he'll be playing in Bangkok again to start his Asian swing. Maybe he'll repeat and go to Tokyo again before Shanghai.
Other early commitments come from Berdych, Gasquet, Raonic and Youzhny

Andy is the top seed in Bangkok! He'll face competition from Berdych, Gasquet and Raonic.
Ferrer and Wawrinka are the highest seeds in Kuala Lumpur.
Nole, Rafa, Juan and Roger are not in action that week (unless one of them asks for a WC).

Since Andy is no longer playing in Bangkok the thread has been moved to Tour Tennis and merged with that for Kuala Lumpur. The first posts have been updated with the Singles draws.
Doubles draws are in separate threads - Kuala Lumpur in Doubles World (Inglot/Huey) and Bangkok in Jamie's Joint (Jamie Murray with John Peers).

KUALA LUMPUR
Portuguese player Joao Sousa is having quite a week!!!
He came into this event as an SE (having reached the SF of St Pete's last week) and has beaten Ryan Harrison in R1, David Ferrer (in the QF's) and now Jurgen Melzer in the SF's to reach the Final where he'll face either Benneteau or Wawrinka.
Jurgen Melzer is clearly unhappy with his own performance!!!
Jurgen Melzer @jojomelzer (https://twitter.com/jojomelzer) 46m (https://twitter.com/jojomelzer/status/383880381965287424) I would like to appologize to all my fans for this performance and attitude on the court today!i deserve every ****storm thats coming...I have know idea what happened today out there and i am disgusted by myself! sorry again!
;)
BANGKOK
Tomas Berdych has just beaten Gilles Simon 6'7(5), 6'2, 7'5 and will play the winner of Gasquet v Raonic in the Final. Berdych has yet to win an event in 2013.
Tricky Dicky has just taken the first set 6'4 against Meelosh.
And Benneteau has beaten Wawrinka 6-4 6-3
Raonic beat Gasquet 3-6 7-5 6-4

Quite a few upsets in Kuala Lumper,Stan must have fancied his chances with Ferrer out. Two tight semis in Bangkok, pity Richie and Giles didn't make it though.

Yep well done Milos. As for no chance against Berdy you never know. Nothing in sport is ever a given.

I'll bet you're very happy to be wrong!!!
BANGKOK FINAL: Milos Raonic d Tomas Berdych 7'6(4), 6'3
:trophy:
KUALA LUMPUR FINAL: Joao Sousa (POR) d Julien Benneteau 2'6, 7'5, 6'4
:trophy:
I'm soooooooo sad for Julien Benneteau who has now lost 9 ATP Finals and still, despite his undoubted talent, has yet to win a title on the tour. This may well have been his best ever chance to get that particular monkey off his back and there'll be many fellow players who sympathise with him.
For Joao Sousa it's a first title and a first ATP Tour title ever won by a Portuguese player so well done to him for gutsing it out. Both players saved match points against them but he came through in the end.
I never expected Sousa to win! Or Raonic really.

Glad I made the effort to get up this morning to watch the match. Did not expect Milos to win but he did play exceptionally well I thought. Robbie Koenig said his play was JAWDROPPING!!! Well done Milos! Second title this year. :yahoo: Hopefully more to come.

Fab win for Sousa, though feel for Benny and you wonder if he'll have as good a chance again. Whilst I thought Raonic had a shot would not have a predicted a straight sets win over Berdy at any rate, a good week for him!
great win for Milos :cheer::cheer:
