Tennis Olympic memories!

So a year ago today Andy won both the men's Olympic gold and the mixed doubles silver! I don't know about you guys but I feel like reminiscing!

I was at work during the Olympics final :( But was following via the forum and twitter and trying not to scream with delight! I did get to go to the semis though where I experienced some of the best atmosphere ever and this (http://twitpic.com/avf0qy) is my favourite pic post Andy's semi victory

Such special moments throughout the Olympics and I think Olympic title did give Andy the confidence to move forward. Not saying he couldn't have won in New York without it but it certainly was a boost last summer. Had a great time at a few events in the first week and seen one of Andy's matches,made do with these thrilling moments on TV though.

I watched the final on American NBC with Johnny Mac as the commie. Now, JMac LOVES Andy so it was a real pleasure listening to him commentate, as it always is tbh. I was so happy to see the fantastic crowd support Andy got AND that Andy beat Federer in straights. So great. But they didn't show the medal ceremony afterwards however our news channel in Canada showed a bit of it later that night which I taped. I watched the mixed dubs final on the computer livestream and it was so wonderful to see Laura get a medal as well. Very special day and one that will be forever remembered.
