FORMAT
Six of the world's top men's players will compete in a single elimination series of matches with two players being given a bye from Thursday's Day 1 matches on 27th December 2012. Semi-Final matches will take place on Day 2 (Friday, 28th December 2012) with the final and consolation (3rd & 4th place) matches taking place on Day 3 (Saturday 29th December 2012).

Note: First match begins at 5:00 pm on Day 1 allowing the UAE community to finish the working day. Day 2 and 3 matches will begin at 3:00 pm
Abu Dhabi is 4hrs ahead of the UK.

Well hope of course Andy is fine.
But personally I always think this kind of tournament is just for "taking the money" and would rather Andy acclimatised/travelled to Australia and did something just there first. But his right to choose!

Might as well take a nice fat pay cheque for a glorified practice session if it's offered!

I suppose that might give him Christmas in UK and then break up the journey down under ? And - yes - it would be a nice far paycheque after 3 months with no income

I should think he earns more off the tennis court by way of sponsorship etc than he does on it. So I doubt he'll be worried about income.
