Washington, Gstaad, Kitzbuhel and Umag.
I see Aljaz lost in R1 to someone ranked about 600 places lower. :(
oop for Washington - http://www.atpworldtour.com/en/scores/current/washington/418/daily-schedule?day=4
Washington is being covered by Sky Sports this week.
Dan Evans on soon after the match between Young and Escobedo which is in its third set.
Yes just off to watch Dan play Dimitrov now. Was very impressed with his win yesterday over Becker. Straight sets in under 50 minutes!
Thought Dan pulled out of the DC tie because of injury?
They said on TV combination of shoulder injury and personal issues! Good to have him back so soon though as enjoy watching Evo play. Already an early break up on Dimitrov!
Dan has won the first set 6-4 and is up a break in the second at 2-1.

Some brilliant stuff from Dan!
Well done, Dan. I thought he was injured though.

He had been. He decided not to take up the Olympic offer as he had already planned to do a long stint in the US to try and get in top 50.
It is a very good time for lesser players to get ranking points as the top players are playing the Olympics.

Dan not playing so I guess he will be playing on Thursday.

My hubby is in Washington right now for a conference and he is staying at the same hotel as the players and bumped into Gilles Muller in reception.

See Dusan has recovered quickly from being turned over by Kyle and has won 2 matches to get into the QF of the ATP250 on clay in Austria
Yes I thought he was injured because that was why he didn't play in the DC in Serbia.

Perhaps it just didn't suit his book!
Monfils and Karlovic in the final (Washington) - one set all!!! Exciting stuff!!
It appears that Monfils has decided that maybe he wants this and it's worth putting in the effort for. He was really annoying me when it looked as though he really wasn't trying - so disrespectful to his opponent and the crowd.
Watching it. Tim Henman won this one long ago. Mr M has the runners up trophy.
Monfils gets the win - brilliant - his first 500 title :yahoo::yahoo::yahoo:
Big servers don't always save BPs. Poor Dr Ivo, he hadn't dropped serve for 53 games in Washington until he served for the title at 5-4 in the second set. Age and experience doesn't mean you won't choke. Great win for Monfils who has such a terrible record in finals.

... the title is currently held by Metz with this offering ...

... which has one distinct advantage in that it might actually fit in a cupboard so it can be hidden away!!!
Cincinnati takes some beating. Does Djokovic really want one of these?
