I thought this thread could be for useful tips to give to other members on how to use the forum.

I suddenly had a problem when I could not reply to posts and PMs (I could not place cursor in message box).

It turned out that I had an old version of Firefox (3.6.10) and after trying lots of things it only resolved itself when I updated to the latest version of Firefox (7.0.1).

Private messaging

If you want to know if you have a private message (PM) - look at the top right of your screen where it says notifications. If you have any messages it will tell you how many.

If you wish to receive your PMs as a pop you need to click on "settings" and then "general settings" and set "Show New Private Message Notification Pop-up". You may also have to enable your pop up blocker too.

We suggest you opt to not have PMs sent to your email address.
