It will be interesting to see what Dani brings to his game.

If it's anything like Dani achieved with Berdych, not much - meow:-)

But Grigor has way more talent than Berdych and may just be a confidence thing. He has still to reach his potential whereas Berbych is an established player, nothing much to be added to his game, he just doesn't have that extra dimension needed to reach the very top. I think Grigor does, it just needs harnessing.

@ Caro - only a bit tongue in cheek. Not sure about Dimitrov. Time will tell, but 25 with 4 career titles doesn't suggest he has the capacity to reach the true heights.

25 is not old by today's standards, and I believe he will find his mojo. I hope he does. I like his game and he seems like a nice guy.

I hope so too. Stan came good in his late twenties so Dimi has plenty of time.

Me too. Dimi's game is really attractive and a likeable personality. He is frustratingly flakey, reflected in his tag as the only top player never to have won from 2 sets down, but I feel that if he changes this, shows himself he can tough things out, then he could really push on. Hope so anyway.

Needs to get luck in a draw and get his confidence back; then hopefully he will be back to how he was or better than in 2014.

Has there been any word on how long he plans to be coached by Dani?

Ah Grigor Dimitrov,I'm so frustrated by this man!! He should be achieving so much in tennis I don't get why he is not. One of life's mysteries.

Dimitrov announced on twitter tonight that he and his coach Dani Vallverdu are ending their working partnership, as of now, after 3 years . Seems amicable.

Interesting- Vallverdu being mentioned as possible candidate to run for the ATP council . Maybe there's a connection? He also got married not that long ago ( actually saying that maybe 2 years?) so maybe he doesn't want to travel as much.

Dimitrov continues to work with Agassi but has parted ways with Radek Stepanek as his coach.
