When I woke up to the results, it struck me just what an empty void British Tennis is going to be when Mr M hangs up his racquet. We have been spoilt by Mr M invariably reaching the buisiness end of tournaments. I hope Kyle can start making in roads, but he hasn't as yet. Perhaps it is still early days for him?

I think we have to hope Jo Konta is not a flash in the pan and she stays around the top ten for another few years, that Laura Robson learns how to serve and shows her potential and Kyle either is somebody who might win the odd ATP 250 or 500 or somehow pushes on.... and Jamie (and the other doubles players) goes on a few more years as doubles players can!
