Dimi has been playing well of late Dani having a positive influence. It should be a good match I just hope Andys' serve is working well, he will need it.

Admittedly I wasn't troubled by Andy's low serving percentages in on Thursday, but it being low again yesterday did trouble me more. Dimitrov is playing good tennis again, joining with Danni seems to have helped him, so I think Andy will need his serve. He did say that conditions we very different to what they were under the roof and he changed strings, so I'm hoping that was a big part of it. He'll come through this match but as it gets later in the tournie I'm just hoping for a shorter one

This is definitely a potential banana skin but I believe Andy will be much more prepared for it mentally. He was all over the shop yesterday, starting with a wild hit long on first point against a second serve which normally he would have played more carefully building up momentum. I would never have believed Andy could have 40 unforced errors in 4 sets against Lorenzi (he actually had 63). On serving he was also way below par at 49% and 41% in first two sets, he was broken 4 times, set three was a massive improvement, 84% with 5 aces and no doubles but then he dropped to 54% in final set. His opponent was not much higher but Dmitrov and Del Potro will be higher and present a greater challenge. However there were bigger scares at Roland Garros, Wimbledon and the Olympics which did not affect Andy in his big games against seeds. Playing anything like those performances, Andy will win in three.
