Libby Clegg won her semi-final in a new world record time in the blind 100 m but subsequently disqualified when it was adjudged that her guide had run in front of her, thereby pulling her along. The GB management appealed and she, thankfully, has been reinstated. Well done, Libby, and good luck in the final.

I have been watching it this evening. As somebody with a disability they awe me. The bilateral amputees are incredible. I grew up reading about Douglas Bader and his struggles to walk on the old style artificial limbs. It's a different world.

They are incredible, they're all amazing athletes. They haven't let their disabilities define them or let it hold them back from these amazing feats. The crowd there have been so supportive too, hopefully the games will help to make changes and improve understanding.

Just watched Will Bayley win gold in table tennis. His reaction was so funny...he even hugged the umpire who was holding up a yellow card for him!! You should have seen her face...priceless!

Edit: Tears tripping me after his interview. Aw poor lad. He misses his gran so much...she bought him his first table tennis table. :crying: But well done Will. :clap:

Gordon Reid and Alfie Hewett presently playing in the wheelchair tennis doubles gold medal match - they play one another in the singles gold medal match tomorrow. If you've never watched wheelchair tennis, it's well worth watching - some of the play is quite amazing. At the moment the French are a set up - c'mon GB!!

Unfortunately the Brits outplayed in first, come on! Gordon and Alfie take 2nd 6-4-good stuff! Unfortunately didn't go well in the 3rd as the French team take the decider 6-1. A bit disappointing in the end but still well done on the silver medal!:silver:

How incredible is 52 year old Juan José Méndez Fernández? With one arm and one leg he completed the 70km road race in the toughest terrain in 1:59:15 finishing 23rd out of 38 riders.

Thought the wheelchair doubles and singles were amazing - so good to watch and none of that towel rubbing and ball bouncing, so much less time wasted between points - I know there is a reason!

Sadly Iranian cyclist Bahman Golbarnezhad has died as a result of injuries sustained in a crash in the C4-5 road race on Saturday. It is the first death in a Paralympics. He was 48 and had a wife and son. An investigation in to the crash has been launched. There will be a moment of silence as part of the closing ceremony tonight.

It has been a fantastic Paralympics for team GB, with a total of 147 medals! 64 gold, 39 silver and 44 bronze! It's been fantastic to watch, though unfortunately overlapped with the US open and Davis Cup. The team have again done their country proud :gold: :silver: :bronze: :GBflag:
