And 2016 isn't finished yet but...Jamie has been a mega performer in both Slams and DC

4 Slam Finals, Winning Two and (not mentioned enough) his six consecutive DC victories, a fantastic contribution to the DC team knowing that we are likely to win the doubles puts opponents under pressure thinking they probably need to win 3 of the four singles.

Just like Andy has really upped his game on Clay, Jamie has made massive advances in men's doubles, well done Jamie

Congratulations to Jamie for a great couple of years! The Davis Cup seems to have been a big part of it in terms of playing on the big stage but with a team behind him and other matches in the tie. When we saw him in the WTF last year I wasn't sure he'd be there again, how wrong I was! Just my pessimism, he's a fantastic doubles player and I look forward to seeing him again this year :)

Really it marks a continued progression for Jamie. When I saw him play the DC in 2008 v Austria he was quite frankly way below the standard required.Since then he has gone on and on, to the point where he's arguably the best doubles player in the world.

It's great to witness how Jamie's confidence has grown and grown over the last three years. I can remember many of us on here willing him to find a regular partner to give him some stability and it's well documented that he was on the point of giving up before he hooked up with John Peers. Now look at him - arguably the best doubles player in the world! Who would have thought it? The best season on tour for both the Murray boys so far and I'm sure there's more to come! So good to see Jamie reaching his potential at last.

Love Jamie and was really sad and very worried when he didn't seem to be able to find a regular partner.Really missed him when he was no longer a regular D.C. choice. Thank goodness for Louis Cayer, partnering John Peers and now settled (I hope) with Bruno. He's now a top world player and he deserves it after feeling that might give up. He seems so happy now and two Slams this year is a wonderful achievement. So happy and proud.

So enjoy watching Jamie play. His skill at the net is beyond compare, so fast and so accurate. It's great to see him getting the success and recognition he deserves after such an up and down time over the years. DC obviously means a lot to him, his emotion at the end of last weekend's match was so touching.

I agree with everything that has been said. I remember after he won the Wimby mixed doubles with Jelena Jankovic and dumped partner Eric Butorac shortly after. At the time I thought he should have stuck with Booty for a while longer and that he was trying too hard to capitalise on the mixed win by finding a higher profile tour partner .... it didn't work and I really worried for him when he seemingly dropped into obscurity. As has been said already, look at him now! So happy for him and Andy who will be so proud of big bro.

jamie has earned $822,577 for the year, which would just about scrape into the top thirty earners on the main tour not bad effort for a doubles players

It's such a pity that doubles has so little TV coverage and the kudos and rewards are so much less than the singles. It's a great game to watch and often far more entertaining than some of the very one sided singles matches we see.

............. just not rising to that one, J, particularly as I'm presently watching a very entertaining match between two women (Kvitova and Kerber)!
