He's such a sweet, unassuming lad who had time for everyone, including British fans and he had such respect and warm praise for Andy - said Andy was one of the most respected and well liked players on the tour. Andy simply sublime. Fantastic match that lived up to my expectations. 2 and 2 scoreline doesn't reflect what a great match it was, but does reflect just how good Andy was. Crazy good. He's the best in the world as far as I'm concerned, the ranking just a formality to follow in due course. And best of luck to Goffin in making the O2, would be delighted and privileged to watch him there.

What a fantastic match that was! Really enjoyed it. It was always going to be highly competitive and it didn't disappoint. Some of the shot making was stunning. To be honest, it's that kind of performance that might drag the best out of Novak again. If his motivation has gone, seeing Andy playing like that may well be the inspiration he needs. But it's hard to see him stopping Andy this week, his game is going to have to go up quite a few levels to be competitive, and I'm not sure he's in that space at the moment.

Credit to Goffin for playing some fantastic tennis too, the second game in the second set reminded me of one from a few years ago when Andy beat Fed at the Tour Finals on this very court. Federer managed to hang on in a wonderful game but Andy took the match.

Wow what a match! Superb from both. It was just that one was more superb than the other.
I'm in such turmoil over the possibility of a Nole v Andy final. Part of me wanted Zverev to eliminate the chance this morning whilst the other part of me relishes the prospect of the long awaited match up. I'm certain Andy is capable of seeing off Nole but IMHO it'd be crucial for him to do so or Nole will regain confidence and possibly the ascendancy especially with a win over Andy when supposedly below par.

Have so enjoyed the matches that I've watched today ( Andy's and Gilles'), Amazing tennis from all 4 players but Andy was unplayable and so focussed. Wasn't sure which of Jack or Gilles I wanted to go through but the way Andy has been playing don't think it will matter and he knows Gilles' game so well whereas I understand that he has never played Jack. Bring it on!

Missed the match but heard on the radio the 6 2. 6 2 score line. Was so surprised when I watched the recording to see such a competetive match. The score line certainly didn't do Goffin justice, but, oh boy, Andys standard of play just goes up and up. Be afraid, Novak D, be very afraid
