It's raining aces and Andy is one match away!!!!!

And well played Tomas - movement so improved and can be proud of how he played  Bad luck on not making London after many years of consistency.

Thank goodness for that. Understandably he got nervous at the end. At least he has had the best practice possible at vital final games. We owe Djokovic for that. Ah poor Berdych looks like he is crying as he leaves the court (and I don't mean that in a sarcastic way).

Who do we want to win the next one? Personally I would prefer Tsonga, but might Raonic be easier?

Think the fact it was such a dod fight get andy focussed on the job at hand without worrying about the bigger picture, up till those last couple of service games

Andy nerves tonight will be nothing as compared to tomorrow. Maybe he could borrow Nole's guru for some "Amor y Paz" tonight. ;)

Andy admitting to a few more nerves before the match knowing Djokovic lost but not when he started playing. He's hoping/expecting the same tomorrow.

Tension at the end but he did it.:cheer::cheer::cheer: God knows how he'll feel tomorrow but loved his answer to Marcus saying he didn't know as he's not been in the position before. :lol:I wasn't tense, just willing him on in that amazing tie break.:excited: Might be different tomorrow.:nailbiter: Go Andy!!:bravo:

Oh my oh my , beyond excited. To be in this position is just reward for Andy (and his fans) for fighting through the tough times. 2 years ago he had a 3 title run so that he could get back in the top 10 and in Paris clinch his spot at the O2. And look where where a 3 title run is leading us in Paris now. How many times has he been written off- including this year. But now faith and perseverance are being rewarded. He thoroughly deserves all the praise coming his way just now.

Well that was quite an experience! Loads of empty seats, Parisians chat, chat , chatting all around me. Not much of an atmosphere but I guess DC has spoilt me. Think they were looking at Andy as a warm up match before Jo! Andy was very irritated with continuous camera flashes and people coming in, luckily I don't think he noticed the 2 pigeons flying around occasionally. Again, cameramen trying to see his notes and were warned by umpire. That tie break was magnificent! He seems to thrive on pressure! Crowd warmed to him after the match when he played a few balls with the guy from We Are Tennis who was playing with a small wooden racquet, particularly when Andy stopped his racquet for his and hit a great lob with it!
Tickets still available guys on official website!

Andy stuck to it but I am concerned by the number of sets lately that he has failed to serve out the first time. Has happened several time over the last few months. May be due to tiredness, that is probably why his serve has dropped off a bit. Hope he finds some extra energy tomorrow, looks as though it is going to be Raonic.

Remember, remember, the 5th of November...

And we all will...remember it I mean. I truly believe Andy will not let it go now.
Then we can celebrate the anniversary ever year

Just home and so excited that Andy has won. Watched the livescore board as hubby was driving us down the M6. Must have looked a nutter shouting c'mon Andy at my phone :big grin: Firmly believe Andy will see off Raonic tomorrow and take that no.1 spot. What a day that will be :GBflag:

Have just finished watching the replay! Wow and wow again! Very tight service dominated first set, but the TB! Beyond amazing!! Breathtaking! That was as classy a performance from Andy (under the circumstances) as I've seen! I'm running out of words to properly express how I feel. Berdy played well and was really very strong in the first set ...but so too was Andy and in the end he was the stronger. Isn't he amazing! What a run we are having! So excited!! Bravo Andy! :bravo::dance::clap:
I'm off now to catch up and read all the posts.....

Loved all your match posts! Clearly we were all going through very similar emotions! How many TVs, ipads or phones were shouted and roared at this evening! Even though I was watching the replay, I didn't know the result so I was living every moment of it and still roaring at the tv...esp when Andy won the TB!!! I was in such awe that he rescued that one! From that moment I knew he was ok! (not that I ever really doubted!)

Well I never imagined I would want Cilic to win any match, but there's a first time for everything and he obliged. Many thanks to Cilic. I'm sure my husband thought I hadlost it, so much excitement and there was no sign of Andy!!!
Then Andy comes along and that tiebreak was something else. He is amazing. So excited for tomorrow, will be more shouting I'm sure. I can hardly breathe I'm so nervous and excited!!!!

Thanks for being concerned. Hawkeye is correct, it was before my bedtime here, 11.30pm and only just before the end of day. Sorry to have confused you.
