The first doubles Semi has just started so Andy has about an hour and half to do press, shower, eat, recover and be back out on court to partner Jamie for a place in the Doubles Final on Sunday.

I would think that it's a fairly long time since it happened in the men's game. McEnroe and co used to do it regularly as did Billie Jean and Martina. But it doesn't happen much these days, except for the Williams sisters.
Somebody must have the records to hand ????

Cilic nearly did it in Beijing - he's through to the singles final and just missed the doubles on a mtb. It would have been remarkable for it to happen in two tournaments in the same weekend.

I think Fed did it too (won singles & doubles on same day), but can't remember what tournament or year or who with.
