My goodness. Winning tie breaks against Raonic is so impressive. I just hope Raonic is getting the deja vu of Queen's.

Raonic has got to be disappointed
While Castle and Henman look at the record books, I'll be remembering the Queen's final.

Great to see the crowd getting into it. Most animated they've been all week. I seem to recognise the lady with long brown hair and tennis ball Aliceband. Is she one of us?
Raonic & toilet breaks is a lengthy ongoing saga.

That's our Andy. What a fighter he is. Come on Andy. Raonic off a long time.
Sad about Castle timing Raonic's comfort break.
Raonic holds to love. 0-1

Shame Andy not serving first
Another break point for Milos.

Wow....just wow
Kim looks very strained but then who wouldn't?
Changing to BBC 1 in ten minutes, announces Castle.
Gutsy hold & save of 2BPs. 1-1
mickeypops
19-11-2016, 16:48
Phew, tough hold but we got there. 1-1.
If Andy could just get that early break I think Raonic would crumble.
Another double fault from Milos.
Raonic not looking too rattled yet... But 30-30 on his serve...
Andy must be soooo frustrated - bread and butter shots going awry. Stick at it Andy.
JAMES4578
19-11-2016, 16:53
Still a battle, just hope Andy can get the momentum soon!
I'm sure they sound louder in the hall because the crowd noise doesn't come across on TV.
There look to be quite a lot of empty seats today.
Safe hold - that'll do nicely. Now for the break, Andy.
Good dropper from Raonic and he's definitely found his serve again - rats!
Not what you want for a 2nd serve return. 2-3
Andy seems to be the one losing his cool.
At last - a back hand down the line!
Every point a battle in that game. 3-4
No joy that time. Keep holding, Andy, and your chance will come.
JAMES4578
19-11-2016, 17:12
Andy put some pressure on but in the end to no avail, still needs to dig deep!
That was a great point from Raonic.
Phew! Now break, Andy, please break - not a lot to ask!!
Business end now. Break here please!

So typical of the BBC. Straight to the news without an Andy interview first.
Came back from walking the dog, and being the wuss I am I have been sitting staring at my screen for the last 15 minutes almost wetting myself.

Well Andy got there finally but should've done it sooner, nonetheless some drama! Couldn't really get the consistency today though strong challenge from Raonic, little in it really. At times in the closing stages was playing not to lose rather than going for it. However Murray's determination got him over the line even if not always pretty and proud as he is so gritty and shows great character. However doesn't always make it easy! Just need to hope he has enough in reserve for the final though and if Djokovic as I would expect will certainly need a more confident display. However for the moment will still saviour a great win no matter how he got it done !:cheer::cheer::cheer::clap::clap:
Some points in the TB were breathtaking especially under such unbelievable pressure.
Andy giving instructions on how to take a selfie, is there nothing he cannot do?
I know it'll be on radio five live sports extra. I doubt radio five live will want to cancel their football 606 for Andy's final, but you never know.

Milos is growing on me. Fantastic fight from him and will be a big challenge next year.
That really was the absolute pinnacle of winning ugly - were you watching Brad Gilbert?
Milos is growing on me. Fantastic fight from him and will be a big challenge next year.
He is certainly a champion in the making. When he sorts his head out he will be very dangerous. He was also very gracious in defeat.
That was an incredibly long match, how does it compare with GS matches? Either way he knows that tomorrow is the last match he has to play for about 6 weeks. He can through everything at it.
I am not a praying woman, but I so hope that Nishikori saved himself in last nights match.

Jeepers that was tense! Fantastic tiebreak. Well done Andy!
Like a grandmaster Andy giving the next generation (Kei & Milos) the experience of playing their longest ever 3 set matches. :shades:
Final is on BBC2 from 6pm
OMG!! OMG!!! That was beyond amazing, That was one of the best matches I've ever had the privilege to watch. I'm shaking! Can hardly type. HOW DOES ANDY DO IT!? (Rhetorical question of course, we all know how he does it!) I must admit to a little waver when he went a set and a break down, but yet....this is Andy I reminded myself, believe....and oh man did he deliver!! Best I've seen Raonic play, he must have some credit too. Both men were phenomenal. Will catch up later. with posts...have to fly now. But well well done Andy! We love you.

Goodness, that was breathtaking wasn't it? I'm completely strung out.......
What a match. Think my blood pressure is only now returning to normal. Impressed with Raonic, very gracious in defeat.
Reports from a few journalists on twitter that Raonic appeared to have been crying before his press conference, very red-eyed.
I like the cut of his jib.
Andy is the best player of 2016 regardless of what happens tomorrow. There's no question about it. Andy was there every single week. You could say it's Novak's responsibility to get there too.
That was the best match I've ever competed in, even it wasn't the best match I've ever played. I'll probably feel like crap for the next few days, but mentally there are things I can be proud of in this match.
Well said, Milos!! I think I might be beginning to warm to him just a little bit - as long as he doesn't start beating Andy, of course! ;)
How often do we say it - "what a gutsy win for our boy"!  I couldn't bear to watch the tbs (didn't turn it off just muted it) and followed the stream here instead. Tense wasn't in it! Such heart and willpower not to lose. Kudos to Milos for making it so tough for Andy who, I fear, will be cream crackered for tomorrow.
He will be cream crackered but he'll know it's his last match of the season and I'm sure the adrenaline will keep him going. He wants this and we want it for him!!!!!
Now watching the Scotland v Argentina match - just as nail-biting. 16-16 with 2 minutes to go - c'mon Scotland!!!!!!!!!!
.................. and Scotland win with the last kick of the match! What an afternoon of drama!!!!!

What a fantastic match, even more stressful than the Nishikori one. Andy won down to sheer determination and doing what Andy does best...finding a way to win even when things aren't going well. Both players missed great opportunities, played fantastic shots, won great rallies and had good and bad phases both with serves and with overall play.
I can't see how anyone can comeback from a match like this, having also played yesterday, to beat another top player tomorrow. However, we are talking about Andy here and with Andy, anything is possible. Due to some personal circumstances, I have not only missed going today but am unable to go tomorrow, absolutely devastated not to be going! Will everyone on the forum there, please shout and cheer extra loud, I hope I will be able to watch and cheer from home in front of the tv.

I'm struggling to think of a more "emotionally challenging" match. Maybe the Wimbledon 2013 final last game but that's about it.
Oh wow ! what a :coaster:
The woman next to me ( British) at the 02 was a "Federer fan" and I think she was quietly clapping Milos but she took some sympathy with me saying she was "like that watching Roger". I said "I thought he just kept calm and won everything"... apparently not. :barmy:
surely tomorrow can't be worse. :nailbiter:
