Hmmm not quite the mouthwatering line up of last year. Wonder how long it will last. Not surprised Andy's not playing he said he needed a rest.
It was good whilst it lasted and I doubt Andy had as much actual fun on a tennis court in the last year than this.

Two years ago they showed this on our sports channel in Canada but last year they did not. We do have 2 Canucks in it this year so maybe they'll show it again but the ratings must have been very poor first time around.

Defo not what it was. Reduced number of events and defo reduced in the number of stars participating this year. Santoro is back at Champions Tennis at the Royal Albert Hall. Can't see it lasting much longer unless they attract the big names back.

Correction. Just seen Serena is playing. The only big star in the line up of current players.
They did promise a Big 4 participant. A nice little earner I'm sure.

A good way for him to get back into the swing. Wonder if he is playing all 3 or at just 1 location.
So Federer and Serena not playing after all. Fans apparently up in arms and want refunds!

Apparently they can't afford Federer and Serena now,or at least mot what they were expecting. Seems the sponsorship not at the same level and must be some doubts for the future, still enjoyed matches at weekend though. With regards to the Masters at Royal Albert Hall so disappointing there was no coverage at all!

And the Friday afternoon session of the Masters at the Royal Albert Hall was absolutely fantastic. Defo up there with the best I have enjoyed at that tournament. Really enjoyable and excellent value for money,

I too was very disappointed James. Always loved that event!
They didn't sell enough tickets to pay Fed and Serena. When they explained the situation to them, they both pulled out. Having announced that they are not playing, loads of punters are asking for their money back. I can't see this tournie being played again.

It's fair enough. I would be very hacked off if I had bought tickets to see Mr M and he didn't turn up because he hadn't been paid. Him pulling out because of illness would have been different. People were sold tickets for something that didn't exist.
I agree it's probably unlikely to occur again, fewer and fewer of the top players were signing up.
Although I am suprised Federer didn't play, just for the match practice. I wonder how well his knee has actually recovered?
