I watched from the second set game where he broke serve so guess I arrived at the right time :)
Yes. I was reminded of Nole during the match, particularly because it was NOT a faultless performance. There were several forehand UEs. What was important though was that they were immediately forgotten and did not affect Andy's attitude. He was going for it, and when he did not get it, kept going for it! Good shot making, controlled aggression and focusing on the next point. Please, please, please make it a habit Andy!

He went for it when the time was right and didn't allow himself to become frustrated with the odd mistakes he did make. Soooo good to watch - please, please, please stick to this way of playing Andy - it suits you, as does the

Read through the thread, I know it's a bit late but thank you so much for all your comments, feels like I've watched it myself! :) I was so so so so happy when my parents sent me a message that had won. And they als recorded it to me so when I get home for Christmas, watching this match will be one of the 1st things I'll do at home...:)
