We start as always in sunny Melbourne. Great timing too as it'll be nice to get away from the rather chilly weather back home.:cold:
If you need to remind yourself of the rules or you're new to this competition, then please read the rules posted here (http://www.andymurrayfanforum.com/forums/showthread.php?2608-Bubble-Gap-Championship-2017&p=195731). The aim of this competition is to guess the bubble gap after the Australian Open. The current race rankings are as follows:
http://u.cubeupload.com/Manaus/db6RacePreAus.png
The current bubble gap is 20. That's Sela's score(170) – Andy's score(150) = 20.
The highest possible bubble gap is 1970. This involves Andy winning the title and someone who hasn't earned points yet getting to R4 with no-one overtaking him.
The smallest bubble gap is 30. This involves Andy losing in the 4th round with the top 7 getting to the SF or better and someone else who hasn't earned points yet getting to the SF.
So in summary, your guess is between 30 and 1970. If you don't want to do any maths then just guess a random number and see how things turn out!
Remember that you can't guess the same number as someone else and once you've posted your guess you can't change it.
Ranking points on offer at the Australian Open are:
R1: 10
R2: 45
R3: 90
R4: 180
QF: 360
SF: 720
F: 1200
W: 2000
Good luck to all who take part and may the best driver win!:trophy:
Deadline: Monday 16th January, 12.00am UK time
