Shame we are unlikely to see Nick and Dan in the doubles tomorrow. Nick is planning to withdraw.

It would have been fun to see them play together but possibly better for Dan to concentrate on the singles.

Yes, they were defending champions. As I think they were in Doha too, where they also went out early. That's a lot of points dropped.

Russell Fuller talked to Leon Smith on radio five live, earlier, and Leon was disappointed about what to Jamie and Bruno. But, then claimed at least Jamie will have more time getting used to the Canadian conditions and more practise. I, too, was very disappointed to learn about their early exit.

Really disappointed I missed this but my PVR stopped working during the night and neglected to tape that and the women's final. It had better not do that for the men's final!!! Anyway very happy for Kont./Peers!!!
