Received email this afternoon saying that pre-sale tickets are available from Monday 30th Jan. Early this year!

Tickets for 02 customers have been on sale since Wednesday. Found out by accident yesterday evening. Only 3 sections involved though 101, 106 and 110. Only single tickets left for final and some sections already sold out but good tickets available for other sessions if anyone is an 02 customer.

I got the presale email as well- will be busy this week- 02 tix Monday, queen's on Thursday. Might need to wait till I get home tho due to inspection. Hopefully will still be tix left. Here's hoping I'm skint this time next week.
Anyone know what the prices are for the lower level this year?

Anyone know what the prices are for the lower level this year?
Seems to be the same as last year - £79.50 for Level One for a Group session (including fees). I picked up a pair for the Thursday evening (wasn't aware they were already on sale) and may go for the final day when they add more tix

Anyone know what the prices are for the lower level this year?
RR are same as last year £79.50, however, semis are £140.50 and the final is £156.50 - all top prices for bottom tier. As mentioned above, tickets are not available for the final in sections 101, 106 and 110. All other sections should be available.
Thanks guys. We often men get the full day for a discount for a number of days to keep the price down, rather than individual sessions but I can't remember what we paid for that last year. I'll dig through old emails I guess

I think it was about £40 cheaper from memory. I seem to recall it was around £117 as I ended up with double the amount of tickets for 2 days and had to get rid of them.

I had no idea O2 customer tickets were on sale and I'm an O2 customer! However, I am now going to try this morning as have a late start at work which is handy. It says you have to wait for an email with a link though and that has not come through yet ...

Only being offered seats on the court end, which I don't want. Why can't you choose a seat?

I had two machines going and noticed you could not choose section. However, I got Row B Section 115 which I took but only a few minutes later Row V was best offered for the final so I would take them before the whole of the lower tier is sold out.

Glad to hear you got something. Likewise I wasn't able to choose any particular block for the final day - got a pair in 109 row W - got a similar offer in another corner but just went for the first lot offered.

they are already on viagogo for £100 extra. #spivs.
Couldn't get on to pre sale link when it first opened this morning. Then decided to use O2 link (thank you themass - I should have my own as I'm an O2 customer but I haven't had an email!) - was on iPad and didn't realise you can only buy multiple sessions on a desk top computer. Got offered row F for semis but had to let go as wanted both semis. On computer and got rows M and N so not great but not terrible either. I never have ANY luck getting tickets for things. Some people ALWAYS seems to get first couple of rows and for one reason or another I never do! Just glad to have got lower session and not right at the back though tbh.

Been trying to get through to the accessible booking line since 10am. Lines were so busy they didnt even put me on hold, just said there were no advisers and to call back. Finally got put on hold but gave up after 20 mins :( guess I'll have to wait for general sale now

The sale today was chaotic, as you say, offered all end tickets, however i did get final tickets 116J and 107aaa for wednesday to add to the ones in got on Friday thanks to post from tm15 (I also missed the o2 presale) so have first two rounds in 110 rows a/b/c still available (you can click on block 110 on the link below) still has rowsb/c most days for single sessions only

How awful, if they can't man the telephone lines they should give you the option to request that they call you back, asap

I know thats what I thought! At least they are now allowing disabled access tickets to be purchased online (but only when they go on general sale) It's always been a nightmare to get access tickets from the O2, spent at least 30 mins on hold before. Hoping the online buying fares better this time round.
We've been for the past 3 years but only RR matches. Hoping we can get semis and final this year.
Glad you managed to get some tickets this morning :boogie:

I can't believe that all these tickets have already gone! We are superfans in our own country and we're on there first thing! The general public (a large number at the 02) won't even be aware of them being on sale at the moment for next November! How annoying for real fans!

I am afraid it is the old story of people buying who have no intention of going, especially the final. You only have to look on Viagogo to see that.

It is widely belived many tickets go straight to the secondary sites and never appear on the official primary site. Allegedly the biggest source of tickets to the secondary market is the promoters themselves. This was reported by the beeb following a ticket abuse inquiry at the Commons Culture, Media and Sport Committee last November. See http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-38131028
Interestingly I see AELTC gave written evidence (3 pages) to the Committee - http://data.parliament.uk/writtenevidence/committeeevidence.svc/evidencedocument/culture-media-and-sport-committee/ticket-abuse/written/43270.pdf
The Committee website is http://www.parliament.uk/business/committees/committees-a-z/commons-select/culture-media-and-sport-committee/inquiries/parliament-2015/inquiry1/ - I wouldn't be terribly hopeful anything will happen though!

They haven't all gone. As I've posted several times before pre-sales are always like this be it for pop concerts or sports. They only put so many tix in the pre-sale and keep the rest back for the general sale. I've even known pre-sales.......not this one......where they offer just a handful of decent seats with many more poor seats. People panic and buy them thinking that's all there is. A sneaky way of offloading less popular seats!

It will be interesting to see what is available in the General Sale. Today in the presale it showed all blocks being available apart from (I think) 102 and 103 which are mainly sponsorship seats and you quite often see banks of those seats empty, especially in the afternoons.

Don't forget last year there were lower tier tickets which became available during the week for all the sessions including Andy's including the final (but those did sell before Andy got to the final!) So don't despair and certainly don't buy at over the odds now if you don't get them on Tuesday. Apart from the semis and final,There were still good tickets available on the o2 presale posted earlier

I know, the Barclays presale was usually around the 7th, this early start has put it in the same bill as my queens tix. Beans on toast looming lol. Will be worth it.
I got the email the other day but wasn't tempted - I always wait for the OOP now.

Me too. I always book at least a few days off work that week and then I can get the ticket for the match I want and go. The only time it didn't work was when Andy played Federer in 2014 ? but I was glad in the end as I wouldn't have wanted to see him lose so badly!
I don't really have the option of waiting for the OOP as if it were an evening match, I would need to stay over. Plus train travel would be extortionate (on top of the extortionate tickets) if I booked last minute.
Going on the Monday although I doubt Andy will be on then. More likely Sunday this time I think.

I realise it only really works if you live close enough not to need to stay over. It also easier to get reasonable seats if you are only looking for single tickets which I usually am.

Yes, so easy to get to. Should have started going years ago but it is only since I joined the forum that I have been swept up in this passion for tennis, particularly DC ties, and Andy of course! I adore seeing him play. I was at the match in Paris, as I believe you were, and saw him lift the trophy as world number one. Much prefer the look of the Dubai trophy though!

Might have been me, I went to the Paris masters final on a day trip from Edinburgh. What a fantastic day it was! :boogie:
After doing every day and every session last year this year we just have two days so far. Too many other financial and time commitments. Always do at least two days back to back to see everyone, hoping to get more nearer the time. As much as it was a great experience to be there everyday and to finally get the DC book I'd been carrying around for almost a year signed, it was a lot of time to spend there. By the end of the week exposure to all the not great food (we often went in for practices so ate inside the arena itself, than at the nice restaurants around it), skin cracking and dry itchy eyes from all day everyday exposure to air conditioning and the expense had all taken their toll. I don't think I couldn't do another full again lol. Maybe a two day break in the middle or something. I don't have tickets for the semis or final this year so unless more are released when I do get more tickets I'll have to settle for RRs. I am lucky to be able to go while it is in th UK I'll miss it when it's gone but will be richer for it lol

As I already have 8 sessions, I doubt if I will add any more! I find 1 session a day is enough.
Amazing commitment, JD - I really admire your tenacity and your bank balance! ;)
To be honest another reason not to do it again is that last year I put it above all else, spending most on my money on tennis in general. So now I have to pay attention to the things I didn't do, like replacing old appliances, paying for some home improvements, replacing my running trainers and of course replacing savings. My bank balance has not recovered yet lol. I have two days now but doubt I'll b able to add more than one day to that.

Name change to Nitto instead of Barclays.
I still will call it World Tour Finals anyway cos it original name without sponsor name stuck name in.
Never heard of Nitto. What do they do? It seems very odd to keep getting emails from 'Nitto ATP World Finals'!

Yip! Gets me through the winter term!
That's cool that the finals are staying in the UK, wish they'd give the north west a go though! ;)
So I thought about buying tickets last year but never did - same old predicament of not knowing when Andy is on and potentially needing to book a hotel. The fact that there are afternoon and evening sessions makes it even harder...Could anyone give me an idea of whether/what seats are likely to be left when the players are announced?

You can get tixs right up till the day you want to go.

Last year I didn't buy any tickets till the draw was made and ended up going to 11 sessions.
Some tickets I bought from the official site and others I got on the day or the day before from the box office or viagogo (below face value).
Lower tier seats were available for all matches after the draw last year (no guarantee that will be the case this year)
A flexible booking with Premier Inn also meant I could change the start date of my stay to the day of Andy's first match.

Think it will be a little more difficult to get tickets this year if Federer and Rafa play. Viagogo tickets were far cheaper without their presence.

Totally agree with you there.
I usually do wait until the draw & even until I know which session Andy is playing. I find if I only want a single ticket I can get something quite decent at a price near to normal value apart from when it was versus Roger when the prices were ridiculous!
I remember things did get more difficult in 2013 & I put that down to more people wanting to go after Andy won Wimbledon.
Thanks for the information everyone!
A flexible booking sounds like a good idea, hadn't thought of that!
When you say the draw, do you mean the order of play? Does that come out like one/two days beforehand?
When I looked for tickets for Sunday I think it was, there were only upper tier ones available so I wasn't sure how good the choice would be later on.
I'm always wary of viagogo but they're actually legit for this? That does sound tempting if you know it's the match you want to go to...
Viagogo are legit but often you can over pay. Another answer though involves more messing about is to buy tickets for 2 sessions on 2 days back to back. For example both Sunday and both Monday. Then you can see everyone and if you aren't bothered about seeing everyone you could sell them. I love live tennis so I always do at least two days to see everyone.
Sometimes last minute you can get great seats. KevD has done this and ended up with better seats than I did even though I booked in advance. It can be hit and miss but if you're objective is solely seeing Andy rather than a particular match you should be fine.
Of course once the first day's play is announced you know you is playing what day because they play alternate days just not what the exact match up between those four guys will be. I'm only going for a few days this year and the diet restrictions and financial side of doing the whole week last year. It was worth it but for me maybe the kind of thing you only do once. no more full weeks of it in my future.
Wow that sounds pretty epic doing the whole week! Can see why you'd only do it once though. :')
Right OK thanks for the tip! So I could buy day sessions for 2 days or wait til the last minute and I should be OK to get a day pass.
Are you going with forumers?

Last year I booked some days in advance (first time I'd been) and got in a muddle because I really wanted to see Andy. Have learnt from my mistakes though and so this year have bought Sat and Sun in advance and then going to buy sessions when Andy is playing
Oh right. Hmm, maybe I should buy tickets for the weekend, I might find it easier to get someone to come with me that way, lol. Otherwise I can see a spontaneous day trip to London happening!

26-06-2017, 20:11
Trying to get tickets for the first Sunday or the semis or final last minute can be difficult or at least very expensive. When they do the draw for the two groups, usually in the middle of the week before the tournament, they normally announce very soon who is playing which session on the first Sunday & Monday. Then after Sunday's matches they announce who plays when on Tuesday, after Mondays who plays when on Wednesday etc
What you decide to do depends a lot on your flexibility, how quickly & easily you can get to London, whether you really want to see Andy (fingers crossed he makes it) or you don't mind.
Good luck
Thank you for that! Really helpful.
I'm 2 hours from London on the train, and I really want to see Andy!! The main thing is whether I go with anyone, which obviously I'd like to do, but I'd also just really like to go. :')
How late do the evening sessions go on for? (She says having watched it on TV for years!) Trying to remember how late it normally goes on for... I'd have to be at Euston for 9 so I'd have to stay over wouldn't I if he weren't in the afternoon, which I wouldn't want to do on my own.
Wow that sounds pretty epic doing the whole week! Can see why you'd only do it once though. :')

Yes with KevD and Yellowlivi meeting up with others there hopefully like last year :) I've sold tickets on before on viagigo and it's been fine. For cost price not profit
We usually stay in barking because it's cheap and tube it in when we stay over. We are staying this time there Sunday night and have tickets for Sunday and Monday. We might get others but that is all we have so far
Oh OK cool. I think I need to meet me some forumers, there's only so many times I can expect my mum to join me, lol.
Did you all get to know each other meeting up at events?
If I found a really good single ticket though I think I'd be quiet tempted!! We'll see!

Single tickets are easier to get for WTF. Matches can go on past 10.30 so if you are doing a day trip Naomi, best to go for the afternoon session which starts at 12 noon. I just hope Andy does make it this year! A long way to go yet.
Thanks! I'll be watching that schedule like a hawk. :)

Well I'm still looking forward to it, although obviously upset that Andy will not be there. Have been lucky enough to see him play (and win) there in the last 2 years so am thankful for that :) Would be amazing if Del Potro could go on to win the US Open, wouldnt he be guaranteed a spot there then?

I would love to see DelPo there too. It doesn't make up for Andy not being there but it would help a little.
The year Andy won't be there is the year I have a tickets to go with a friend!! I know we'll still have a good time but what are the chances!
We have less tickets that ever before, glad about that now. But still love the tennis so I will enjoy it :)

Yes it was fine in end, I remember having slight panic as my friend and I wouldn't see each other prior to the event and were meeting in London but wanted separate tickets in case either of us got delayed so i needed time to get them to her mums for her to collect. Same in reverse this year - as I need to go straight from airport to O2- don't want her held up waiting to hand over tix. We could avoid the stress by getting e tickets- but it's nice to have actual tickets as keepsakes. I honk last year they came 3 weeks before?
I've got me e-tickets now so panic over. Would have liked keepsake too westie but decided it was easier to have e-ticket. Hopefully see you there.

We will be finding somewhere to eat in between sessions so we could maybe meet then. Elizabeth and bubblebee are there too. Had all intentions of doing that last year though ... then there was the Andy v Milos match!!
I will message you my phone number
Sad to miss you guys as no semis for us this year.
Anyway though some awards have been given there awards anyone around of semis day will see Denis shappy presented with his awards, star of the future and most improved player. He accepted them via video link but will arrive in person to collect them.
Raffa will be presented with his world no 1 trophy after the first session on the first Sunday. My guess would be this means after the singles not after the doubles (session not match) but who knows lol http://www.atpworldtour.com/en/news/atp-awards-2017-announced-at-nitto-atp-finals-official-launch

Yeah but only two days this year. Was saving for the Peru adventure when they came on sale, so just got two. Then after Peru we had sam, then Wimbledon, then sam again and then it was October. Change I camera rules this year. No dslr regardless of size of lens. Looks like even bridge cameras will be a No. I only ever take my point and shoot. Which packed in during the tournie last year leaving me with just my phone. It was repaired in time for Costa Rica andis still alive snf kicking this year, fingers crossed.
Tighter security and warnings of long delays too

That's just become a double yikes. Was relying on ditching my luggage with airportr in order to go straight tonO2- only now they don't operate at London city so will need to go to hotel then to O2. Friday night match better be a three hr epic!
Last time I went I got in just as the doubles players were shaking hands at the end of the match. Saw an excellent singles match though, so still well worth going!
Just a quick update from yesterday for those who haven't been yet, there is no fanzone this year. There are a couple of bits and bobs in the main arena. The large shop, that allows you to browse or try on the merchandise, that was not he foyer before entering the main arena has also gone. There is a small shop that you can get in from outshine for everything is behind the counter like it is in the little shops in the arena itself. Last year the only practise court viewable was sponsor village. This year this has also gone. So there don't appear to be any open to the public.
Elaine was asking about dslr cameras - I posted that this year they weren't allowed. I'm guessing the rule is holding firm as I haven't seen any in the arena.

I'll still be gong- but was never going to make the doubles, now I may miss a good bit of the singles too. Hoping there's a tail wind that lands my flight early.

One is hidden inside one of the venues in the O2 entertainment bit. We saw the signs to it but weren't allowed in. The other is on the walk way (outside) between exit H and the main entrance. Yesterday someone was practising there, we guessed at zverev from the shoe squeak, but pleb member of the public without special passes weren't let in. Maybe some guys ask for privacy. I don't know. We didn't try again x
Most disappointed to see that the Beeb are only showing the afternoon singles matches and not the evening ones :grrr:

Loved the Nadal match last night!!
It was a great match. We were lucky with our tickets this year. At first I was sad to just have two days after doing every day last year but they were two fantastic days. 2 singles and 1 doubles went against me but they were still great matches. Pain having the m1 and m6 closed so we didn't get home until after 4am. But it was worth it. The evening matches were the best on both days. Looking forward to next year.
Does anyone know what the bag restrictions are size wise? I was planning on taking a large 'bucket' handbag but not sure if it will be allowed.
35cm x 40cm x 19cm is the maximum bag size allowed, though they do say standard handbags are allowed.

Yeah I think as long as it's not a huge bag you're fine, I took a medium-sized rucksack and it was fine.

Unfortunately, I missed going, been under the weather for a week now (had to miss Killers concert at the Echo as well), however been watching some really competitive matches on tv. It seems the attendances not hit that much so far by all the absent players the lowest was 15,193 (Tuesday afternoon) and 17,800 capacity for both of Feds matches, Rafa's was just 300 below capacity and both yesterday were over 16k.

Just as well you left the killers, the queue to get with security was nearly an hour and that was with missing the support! Standing in that cold nearly finished me off. Hope you feel better soon there is nasty stuff around .
Had a brilliant day at the O2 on Saturday. Watching Goff beat fed was nearly as exciting as watching an Andy match! I nearly shouted myself hoarse and was leaping up and down when he won! I had a few choice looks and a few tuts I can tell you!! There were a block of red dressed Fed fans just to our left who went deathly quiet :laugh: Loved every minute of it!
We managed to meet up with elizabeth and bubblebee because would you believe it .... our seats were next to each other! :surprised: What are the chances of that?! So we went for a meal and a few celebratory drinks for wee Goff in between sessions. We missed wimbledonwestie though, it's always difficult when you're going to both sessions to co-ordinate meet ups.

Thanks for the messages, first time i've not been to any matches at the o2! Reluctantly saw the doc after being bad for a week and not showing any signs of recovering, now had 4th day of antibiotics and picked up a lot.
