GGL had lost in the first round of 10 consecutive tournaments going back to Metz in September last year until he reached the second round of Delray Beach (beating Brown, losing to Sock) last week. Could say he's found some form winning 2 matches in consecutive weeks. He started 2016 ranked #27 and last week his ranking had dropped to 99, his lowest since June 2008.

Quite stunning match from Andy. GGL wanted a long war of attrition, but Andy got his tactics spot on and wrestled the match away with some ridiculously good attacking tennis. Having had to miss Andy's match in real time, I've just finished watching the replay. Very impressed with Andy's play today! After the initial sparring in the first 2 games, Andy soon had his opponent worked out and thereafter was all over him! Well played Andy. :bravo:

Watching the replay now, with Andy at 2-0 in the 2nd set. Must say I am really impressed with Andy so far in this tourney. I was a bit worried he might be a bit rusty or showing signs of post-shingles fatigue, but he looks as fresh as a daisy and so sharp. I really should have known better

They're awful. Why couldn't they at least use strong contrasting colours for each player? It's made harder to follow by the faint difference between white and pale grey.

Totally agree,very difficult to see who is white or wishy-washy grey.
