Dom has just lost a very close MTB, beaten by Mahut and Herbert. I was watching closely with the DC in mind! Dom and Mergea lost the first set easily but made a good come back to take the second, albeit it was gifted to them on set point by a Mahut DF. It was nip and tuck the whole way in the MTB...(still hate them!) But at least it was very close.

A class above their opponents today!
There have been problems with livescore all week and no more so than this match. The first set took 23 minutes and not 7 minutes and J&B dropped more than 1 point. Still a very impressive performance.

Expected a straight sets win for them, but to drop only three games was marvellous.
Herbert has withdrawn from the doubles with a leg injury giving a walk over to Nestor and baker

I have been trying to multi task and failing.
I've been watching Jo on here (BT Sport) and Jamie and Bruno on telly - hard work !!!
Ha - I was multi-tasking as my daughter is making an Easter cake to take to work tomorrow (early - she works at a school!) and I was on call for the tricky bits!!

What a pity - they almost staged a miraculous comeback but not quite. That was one that got away though.

Spirited fight back from 3-9 to 8-9 with some help,unfortunately had just too much ground to make up. A bit of a disappointment again. Kubot/Melo had some great returns though.
Melo knows where to serve to Bruno. :sad: This really is deja vu. The same result against the same pair as in Indian Wells when they were also up a set and a break and apparently cruising then it's all a struggle.

Getting it back to 8-10 not good enough, another atp1000 let down
Shame J & B let that one go! Silver lining is that it now gives Jamie more time to adjust to clay for DC!
Very disappointing after apparently being in control with 2nd set break. Can't quite crack it this year yet.
I really don't like the scoring in doubles deciding point and match tie break are two terrible things. It often makes a good match feel too much like a game of chance. Whilst it is a shame for Jamie and Bruno the bright side is he can get home and hit on the clay with Dom sooner

With the Bryans losing, Henri Kontinen will be the new double's #1 on Monday. :clap: A chance to recall once more a comment from Sue Barker (aided by Bouncy & Lloydy) at Queen's a couple of years back when commenting on Dimitrov and him being Wimbledon junior champion in 2008 but whatever happened to the Finn he beat in the final? He's just become world #1 and he's only 26. :shades:
